Personally, I don’t know any Bernie or Hillary supporters who have said this. All of us are like “either way, I’m voting D.” Simple.

I know very, very few HRC supporters who would not vote for Bernie. Summation of interesting conversation I had with multiple ‘Bro’ though - Him (smugly): if Bernie doesn’t win the nom, I’m sitting out in November. Me: (bs’ing) Yep. I feel the same way. If HRC doesn’t win the nomination, I’m staying home in November.

This is actually a question. My sample size is really small and I’m curious if y’all know Hillary supporters who wouldn’t vote for Bernie in the general.

I don’t know any, I’m in the same boat as you.

my sample says the same thing.

What’s interesting to me is that the Bernie supporters who want a revolution, don’t seem to inform themselves about other parts of government. Hence what happened to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Yep, we can see examples of them on Jez even.

I haven’t met a single Hillary supporter who wouldn’t vote for Bernie. Nor have I seen a single one on the internet.

Yep, same here. All the Hillary supporters are generally respectful and make very detailed arguments about why his platform doesn’t make sense.

I’ve gone on about this in detail before, but to put it in very simple terms, I think for most Clinton supporters, their aversion to Sanders as a candidate is not ideological. For most Sanders supporters, their aversion to Clinton is ideological. So the dynamic makes sense, even if I don’t agree with it.

I work in the arts, and with a ton of people in their 20s. I’d say half of the bernie supporters will not vote for hillary for any reason. I’ve tried my best as an old to talk about the larger picture and getting involved in local politics, fix the shit that has lit a fire under their ass. Channel this Bernie charged

I’m a middle aged white guy who is voting for Sanders. I can’t stand Hillary. But if she wins the nomination, she can absolutely count on my vote.

I've only seen one Clinton supporter say they'd refuse to vote for Sanders if he's the nominee. Take anecdata for what it's worth, but there you have it.

I’ve seen a few not-voting-if-Bernie folks—way less, but a few—and only online

The thing I love about real life is intelligent, measured conversation

In my experience, no one supporting Hillary is planning on not voting for Bernie. I think, and this is just a hunch, it has to do with the establishment vs. anti-establishment trend. Hillary supporters tend to be (again, my limited sample size as well) democrats who support her, but are also loyal to the Democratic

I’ve literally stopped engaging with people about politics. If I get into a conversation, I explain that I support Hillary, I think Bernie’s fine but he’s not my first choice and then I disengage. I did my research, I’ve heard all the arguments, I’ll vote for Bernie if he wins the nomination, but I’m not going to sit

My personal experience aligns with yours. I don’t know a single Hillary supporter who would not vote for Bernie in the general, but several of my hardcore Bernie supporting acquaintances have already declared they will not vote or vote third party if Hillary wins the nom.

I’ve literally never seen a Bernie supporter say they would pick up their ball and go home if Hillary is the Democratic candidate. As someone who prefers Bernie to Clinton, I will be voting for whichever one of them represents the party later this year. This usually-side-eyed-but-sometimes-overt insinuation that

I don’t know that many, but things like “unqualified” aren’t helping. I’m voting for the nominee regardless, but now I’d have to hold my nose to vote for Sanders, and if they keep playing up this contested convention narrative and get the nomination when Hillary has more pledged delegates and votes, then fuck it all.

I do love a millennial who thinks 40 years olds are so old we don’t know what the internet is or how to use it. (do they not teach the history of the technology in school?)
