It’s too bad that progressives didn’t think women’s rights, voting rights, LGBT rights, and economic protections were worth the effort.

I play Fallout and other single-player games specifically because I got tired of 13-year-old assholes and cheaters ruining what little time I have for gaming. I used to do MMOs, FPSes, and other online games, but it’s just not worth it for me anymore.

We definitely had school closed because of smoke in San Diego county on numerous occasions, and many more days where school was in-session but we couldn’t go out for recess or lunch.

One of my friends has a 14-year-old son, and whenever the kid sasses him, he busts out the “Oh yeah? Well, I banged your mom.” He tells me that there is no greater satisfaction than doing that in front of his kid’s friends, and that it’s a guaranteed laugh.

I approve this strategy. We also made it clear that “this is what we’re eating. You don’t *have* to have it but we’re not getting something else for you.” This policy works both at a restaurant and at home.

My kids eat what we eat, have no problem with spicy food, and have never even *wanted* what was on the kid’s menu.

Easy... No idle threats, you tell them in advance what will happen when you get to the restaurant, then follow through.

That’s why kids menus are bland like that, because a lot of kids do not eat more unusual things.
