definitely this. to have focused on sansa during that would have made it a cheap, gratuitous scene, but to cut away and end the show immediately after bolton rips her dress wouldn’t have created the same emotional impact. i don’t think anyone enjoyed this scene - we’re all rooting for bolton to get his throat ripped…
