thank you! that’s local(ish, everything is 20 minutes away here) and reasonable, so i will definitely be stopping by next time i want to get my nails done :)
My jersey skirts from target pilled in like, thirty seconds, but I have a maxi dress that I got from Nordstroms like literally 5 years ago that was $90 (SO MANY DOLLARS) and hasn’t pilled at all despite being the only thing I wear for like 3 months out of the year.
I will never stop wearing maxi dresses and maxi skirts. They are comfortable and they look nice on me and they require the bare minimum of effort to get dressed. Haters gonna hate.
he is mostly just lazy i think. he’ll be all like, “oh i need to shave my face” and then not do it. which i get! i haven’t shaved my legs in a month because the struggle is real. and to be clear it’s not like it makes me less attracted to him - i just think he looks a bit silly. so i hope so toooo
THAT IS THE WORST PART
You know when you’re getting your hair or nails done, right? Just plan ahead and go get some cash. It’s not hard.
In OC it’s anywhere from $25 to $50 for a regular mani/pedi. It’s tough because even the pricey places here seem the same as the cheaper ones, as far as the manicurists go, so I don’t know how to tell if I’m contributing to exploitation or not. The place I go is family run and seems to be on the up and up but they are…
I think it really varies. The place I go to (in Orange County CA) is $25 for a basic mani/pedi but that is stupid cheap even for here. So I tip 50% usually.
I love my boyfriend, but he has this problem. :| I’m like, keep the mustache! The mustache is fine! But please for the love of god shave your cheeks you look like you have mange.
The day that I realized that being diagnosed with celiac meant that I could never eat at McDonald’s again was a sad, sad day for me. pizza comes in gluten-free. DOUBLE CHEESEBURGERS DO NOT. ;___;
these gifs are mesmerizing
nope, you’re still missing it.
That’s a great suggestion.
From what I’m understanding from everything I’ve read about this - yes, but no, because insurance carriers are treating it like generics v. name-brand drugs.
Just because it shouldn’t be necessary doesn’t mean it isn’t the way to accomplish her end goal, right now.
Oh, Qualcomm. The stadium so terrible that the Chargers would rather share one with the Raiders in fucking Carson over continuing to play there.
Talk to your doctor and see if you can get written documentation that the NuvaRing is medically necessary and that other forms of birth control aren’t an appropriate alternative, and then raise hell with your insurer until they get sick of you.
I got my IUD for free! I didn’t have to take any steps beyond “make an appointment and tell my gyn that I want an IUD”, though.
