Well, with your logic there is no way to argue one way or the other. And thats fine. I am not trying to win an argument, I am just expressing my thoughts. Cheers.

Well, just got No Man’s Sky during black friday and and VERY happy.
As for Gamergate, dont know much about this -These are just my own thoughts in this specific game. As whole and based on what little i know, that whole movement was shitty from both sides to the detriment of both “real issues in gaming and gaming journalism”.
To me, buying a game is really an economic effort and a time compromise. I work and have a family. I don’t always like what I buy but at least I can appreciate some aspects and see my money worths one way or the other. From major releases to indie games, I can usually appreciate the craft and effort.
I take you have not seen his interview in youtube in the middle of the backlash -or paying attention to the slanted news or the agenda ridden articles.
Yeah, but Kotaku is been doing what looks like PR and damage control on behalf of Bethesda. Including some awful comments by Jason, defending the company and generalizing and mischaracterizing the gaming community. So a positive review was not out of the possibilities.
I refuse to support this Star Wars game... although I recognize it does look delicious. But I mean, EA is holding the SW franchise by the neck. Ugh.
I am glad Kotaku had the b*lls to put a negative review. I might rarely agree with you, but I still like you.
We are f**k. From both left and right.
If they get Yoko Kanno, they are 50% there. Crossing fingers.
I followed this game since the announcement. But after what happened upon release, I just skipped it and forgot about it. But after just finished playing nonstop for the last 48 hours, I can say this: They turned this around and now is the game they promised and we all imagined. Get it.
Completely agree with your point. And I have no issues with this being the reality of the Industry, tbh. It’s only that is rarely mentioned whenever “representation” is the subject.
Good try, but no.
Latinos are under-represented and black are over represented. Change my mind.
Yes I have, and everything that made their games exceptional is absent from this “game”. Dont get me wrong, I think most of us like and admire Bethesda, but they really messed up this time and I hope they get back to shape in the next.
Nop. The complains are valid. Granted, not to the extreme some may express, but this is an unexplainable mess for a company like Bethesda.
“You.re not a feminist, you just hate men, huh? :-)“ Well, that was it. For a moment I thought you were a rational person. My bad.
“But maybe a grown man who can protect the tribe is more valuable than a weak kid” In an invasion or attack, guess who gets killed first? And guess who gets raped and/or incorporated to the new order, but surviving nonetheless? I’m obviously generalizing , but this is the evolutionary trend. I you were in a situation…
Well, thats up to you, but is certainly true as it has been for thousands of years. Kids are valuable as it is life yet to flourish and women because because potential pregnancy or future reproduction. So yeah, objectively more valuable. And I am pretty sure (assuming you are male (!)) you would put your life at risk…
You might be right, but it was true (at least, that’s the idea) for thousands of years. Personally, I kinda of believe is still true in some sense; for example, whenever I have been in an emergency and “Kids and women evacuate first” without exception, we all agree. And that’s the way it should be as kids and women…
