After the Frosk debacle the CEO said I didnt have to watch anymore.
I think there is great value in being happy with what you’ve done not because society tells you that it was valuable, but because you personally found enjoyment in it.
“In our hyper-connected capitalist world, especially right now, productivity in general—not just in Animal Crossing—can be performative. We equate productivity with worth and meaning because it’s what we’ve been primed to do.”
You’re allowed to go for walks outside eh? Just.... Just letting you know.
They made A TON of money from the initial release.
First Gizmodo article about Animal Crossing “The zero interest loan in this children’s game is too stressful”
I can’t believe I used to recommend this site to people....
Seriously, why do people keep insisting with this ridiculous talking point? It’s like complaining that you “have” to pay $300+ dollars for an X1 to play Gears 5. That’s a lot of money for one game!
How much experience do you have with VR games? If you’re feeling nauseous, you can overcome it, but only if you take it slow—play for short sessions, and never try to “power through it” unless you want the mere sight if your VR headset to make you want to vomit.
You don’t need to spend $2000, stop with the misinformation.
The battle of Skarif was very impressive, and had an actual story arc, where these guys just showed up and did nothing but get fried by jazz hands lightning.
While watching that final battle I was struck by how awful it was, especially compared to the battle over Scarif in Rogue One. The expectation was that the mainline series would culminate in the most epic of confrontations. Instead, the whole thing reeked of budget cuts and last minute rewrites.
I would never have imagined that I’d be rolling my eyes when the Star Wars fanfare kicks in during the movie’s climax, but that’s exactly what happened.
It’s sad then that I felt nothing when the fleet arrived. Like, oh...ships are here. Ok, who are they? Where the fuck were they? Why now? Because plot I suppose. I guess I’m supposed to feel elation that the cavalry’s here (mini-hooray). Doesn’t matter anyway because big badaboom hand-lightning!
Don’t forget that there were also zero action shots of any of these ship aside from the Falcon after their arrival!
The effect is impressive.
Everybody understands that that's how things have turned up working. That doesn't mean anybody has to like it.
I wonder what brings such developers Apple instead of like, the Nintendo eShop (or, not both at the same time).
No, a month is ridiculous. That’s more than enough time to completely finish many games and then simply return them for a refund, thus ripping off GOG and the publisher.
