Such a shame of all the removed features and promised mechanics. I think having to stick to a release date damaged the game. A Reddit thread has been documenting this in detail and there is more in the steam reviews. Why otaku is not reporting on this?

Loved that part of the documentary. A true moment of insight.

I kind of like they are making the game more difficult; it was way too easy to catch pokemon before. But they are doing everything in the most stupid backwards way possible. You gotta first fix the core gameplay, then streamline. Now the game feels unfair. On the other hand, now is going to be twice as hard to catch…

Oh Niantic. FIRST Ban the cheaters using gps and bots...then fix the steps...and THEN go after pokemon tracking tools....sigh

Meh. Anything but bots. They should perma ban each one of them. I used to congratulate all higher level player I have met (I’m L24)... but now I’m just suspicious of them.
