Indeed. Some artists have resorted to just upload low resolution images, or avoid posting finalized artwork. One problematic and a legal gray area is fanart. While making original art you gets you some legal protection (if cought), fanart is usually open for misuse, piracy and is easy to find in unlicensed products.…

This is a big problem in Illustration as well… from appropriating the artwork, manipulations to straight tracing. So sad.

That is way you don’t splatter your name in your work with a stock clipart and horrible lettering.

Why cant they add a check mark for “Butt pose on/off” and we all can be happy? Actually, this should be a new standard for all games .

I get your point, but you cant get in the way of awesome Evel Knievel! As for the silhouettes, I kind of like it that there will be variations… its going to add another layer of depth and learning. If you want samey silhouettes, there are tons of games with that.

I think there is a middle ground there. To me, Witcher 3 and Skyrim represent what Zelda may have been in alternate realities. In short, a mix of these 3 game styles will be perfect -60%Zelda (Universe, setting, combat, style) 20%Skyrim (gameplay elements), 20% Witcher (missions, diversity).
