They are a very important part of the industry and gamming would be at a loss without all those crazy awesome weird gems they produce; its a unique voice and part of the charm of the industry.

Man, there are tons of articles here and everywhere detailing all the BS decisions of companies from this side of the world. Butchering releases, abysmal communication and community management, shady DLC/exclusivity arrangements… I mean, there is a ton. Again, they might be slowly learning, but is really mind-blowing…

Exactly. And I can accept they have to diversify their business, but they just kill any good will by screwing their fan base and the people who actually build their companies.

You are right. Nintendo is by far my have dev, but they keep doing the same mistakes in every gen. Even though we are perceived as a entitled bunch (us, gamers) we are always willing to throw money at good ideas and execution. They just cant take a hint…
