In media circles, there’s a weird lukewarm-ness about it. It’s really not reflected in player sentiment, I’d say.

I contemplated grabbing this last week and I’m glad I did, I’m having an absolute blast! It’s a total power fantasy, Robocop is a tank, and that’s awesome! He doesn’t run, or take cover, or even crouch like some loser, he boldly walks into oncoming fire from no less then a dozen baddies at a time, and doles out…
I really wanted to like Phantom Fury more. Ion Fury was great!
As I recall, Hayter even took a modest pay cut to afford to bring the original cast back instead of recasting for The Twin Snakes.
Considering the game was done as a non-union job and everybody used pseudonyms, I’m not shocked to hear it also paid terribly. I hope the later games paid better but I also would not be shocked if they didn’t either.
5v5 sucks, push kinda sucks, the new heroes are frankly shit, the new maps are dull and they cut better ones now theyre actually cutting characters as i hear Torb is being removed (wouldnt be so bad if lifeweaver or sojourn etc were any fun to play)
4b) Tank is worse to play now, 2 tanks was good and made the game more dynamic
Yeah, I get that it’s gambling and it’s also a shit option, but I’ll take loot boxes over a battle pass any day of the week.
Yeah. As you probably know they’re going to get delisted from NASDAQ soon because they’re not maintaining the minimum share price. She has a slam dunk workplace harassment suit. It would be much cheaper to just kick this dude out, he’s not bringing in what it’s gonna cost to defend him.
I wasn’t making any assumptions about her sexuality. And the game seemed to be making none, which is the point. It was just letting other characters be interested in HER. That’s kind of how games like this SHOULD operate. Give you a bunch of options, and let the main character be disinterested in them ... until you…
Ha! Fuck yes, your brother. I’m glad I’m not the only one who could tell Aloy was into Talanah.
Oh, I took a stroll through some Twitter comments and it is exactly what you’d expect (Especially with blue checks for sale now) I saw so much “go woke go broke” in there. A few others were spouting out “gaystation 5" as if it were: a. Clever or b. not something that the LGBTQIA+ community would want to call it.
I still think asexual but homo-romantic. Like she does have romantic feelings and attraction just not sexual interest.
They could’ve gone further, but HFW makes it very, very clear that Aloy is attracted to women.
1) Cool, but pity it had to hide in the DLC.
I’m more pissed at Kotaku spoiling something within 24 hours of release then anything else. But they have to meet their spoiler in Titles quota somehow.
As someone who only played 1/4 of the game (for gameplay reasons), I’m very shocked by this. It really seemed to be lining up an array of bisexual romance options, so for it to just winnow itself down to ONE option (gentleman or lady) is ... odd. That feels to me like a Bioware game where ALL the flirtation is still…
I always thought Aloy was coded as ace, but I will take queer rep where I can get it. Not as brave as you know putting it in the actual main game but it's still better than nothing
I’m assuming that a tech YouTuber would have backups of all his old videos, so you’ll probably be able to view them again eventually even if YouTube can’t undo the damage.
Niche? It’s an FPS. It’s basically Russian Bioshock. Not sure I’d call it mediocre either. The graphics are fantastic, the aesthetic is unique and memorable and the game has some crazy boss fights.
