Let me be more specific then: the old school, base building RTS genre is dead. Or as good as. StarCraft 2 had been the holdout, but I believe its star has dwindled a fair bit. Company of Heroes was the zenith for me, and C&C3/RA3 were fun distractions but that has kinda been it. Petroglyph studio are still chucking

And I like Ministry and all, but Trent has more talent in his big toe than that entire band. IMHO, of course...

Is Abby from Brooklyn a friend of yours, by any chance?

Highlander or Flash Gordon, surely?

The switch would still lose charge if you charged it with the normal 5v/1A or even 5v/2A chargers.

Except it’s not really a mobile chipset... It was basically made for the home and a permanent power source in the Nvidia Shield...

And that is what is bothering me.. I took to flash because the tools were easy and for the most part very intuitive. I loved how I could click on the edge of a vector line and drag it and manipulate it in so many ways.. even snapping lines together felt tactile. But yeah, the people screaming that HTML5 is the future

That’s the thing that annoys me as well.. People are screaming up and down that Flash needs to be killed off, but as someone who enjoyed creating things in Flash (because it was freaking easy!), people tend to be quiet as hell about how to covert existing flash material over to HTML5. They say 5 is easier but for us

This all changed when HTML5 hit the scene, [...] HTML5 is more powerful, easier for developers to use

I suppose, but at I said by that logic you can just throw anything in there.  Sort of undercuts the value of her reviews though.  But, as you say, I guess that’s her prerogative.

Yeah, this is how I feel, too. Horizon takes the “open world exploration” aspect of non-racing games, and puts you in a car. You can drive around beautiful foreign locales in your favorite car, and whenever you get bored, hop into a race or challenge. They’re not the deepest games in the world, but they’re a lot of

So after years of me never having the chance to review an AC game, having been in college and freelancing and now finally worked my ass to this moment in time, I finally get a chance say that I think that people bitched too much about Assassin’s Creed III?

Haha yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Allow me one final thought that I think doesn’t get spoken a lot in these discussions.

I am from America - that Cobra cost sounds insane, I live in NYC and Cobra is half that. Maybe you have kids? Or maybe it’s just different were you live? I dunno, I find that number to be extremely different from my own experience.

I wish I could downvote this to infinity. This is basically an argument that because there is a supernatural or nonrealistic element in the story it means all logic and rules are basically null and void and that’s just not how storytelling and suspension of disbelief works.

Cool, but like, you want to buy a battery pack or something?

Thanks!

Mainly to be able to co-op without having to jump through even more hoops, yeah. The message system is kinda nice, too.

I actually did see a link to that story on Pajiba this morning and cleared up the rumor somewhat. But even so it’s still creepy and the fact it’s being made into a TV show after being on 3!? albums makes what may have started as an innocent flirtation into straight restraining order territory.

I’m not defending the song, it is incredibly shitty. I used to read a lot of music websites back in the day and some random things just stick.
