Yup. God love Capcom and their complete inability to look inward.
Oh, for sure. I don’t expect to ever see another Darkstalker/VS. That doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t make one, especially considering that Capcom’s idea of “conventional wisdom” is totally flawed. That’s why they wrote off SF3, even though it lived on to be one of the highest regarded fighting game series of all…
My vote would go to a new Darkstalker/Vampire Savior. I think with SF6 having cemented its place as the defacto 2D fighting game of the current gen (you may or may not feel this way), there’s room for something that steers into anime fighters a bit harder, especially since it feels like MVC is probably in remission.…
Well it kind of depends, me and a lot of my friends play Switch more undocked than docked. I only dock mine when the batteries are low.
Steam deck is kind of the same thing. I don’t want to dock it, that’s basically the same as just playing a game on my pc. The steam deck’s appeal for me is the portability. Being able…
I’d definitely be interested in that. I use a NUC for PC couch gaming now and it’s fine, but that’s mostly because I only play a very small subset of games on it. Something that’s purpose-built for that use case would be great.
Nah I think the first 2 Max Payne games are way better than Control. That’s not to say Control is bad or anything, I love that game too, but there’s something about Max Payne 1 & 2 that just stands out to me. Be it the atmosphere & the mood, the story, the characters, the graphic novel panels etc.
Don’t sleep on Control. From a gameplay standpoint, it’s easily Remedy’s best game.
My interest in Stanley remains flat.
When asked for a response they replied
I don’t think anyone is surprised by this. I still buy CDs and Blu-Rays, but I realize that I’m in the minority. I hope there continues to be enough of niche audience to keep them alive for purchasing online, but only time will tell. As far as games go, I would bet that Best Buy will continue selling them as long as…
This right here. People do NOT know what their time is worth. I’m willing to spend good money to save my time and effort for other things.
There are too many people who just take chasing savings way too far and don’t really know when to walk away when all the hoops they’d have to jump through just don’t become worth it anymore. Or they’re unwittingly spending more money just to “save” money. That major inconveniences are not a good price to pay for…
Wait, you still spent your money at this business? You just wrote 11 paragraphs about why you should never patronize Gamestop again! Way to go back to your abuser dude... I can’t fathom spending this amount of time on something. Is the amount of money you saved worth the amount of time it cost you?
You guys are getting to the point where it seems like deliberate ignorance of what’s happening.
It is true that AI art can sometimes be seen as a search prompt, but it is important to emphasize that it is ultimately a tool in the hands of a human artist. While the AI may use source material to generate new artwork, it is the artist who determines the initial prompt and decides how to use the output generated by…
I think this is the wrong take. A.I. art is a tool. Like Photoshop. You create something in Photoshop you can copyright it. This is the same.
It’s really interesting seeing creative types come to grips with generative AI and learning algorithms and their output. It’s the impact of open source images.
John Carter is underrated.
My 2020 Kia Soul requires a subscription for some things that are infuriatingly tempting. Remote start/climate, sending an address from my phone directly to the car’s GPS, “Find My Car”... They gave me a free subscription for the first year and it was all so useful! 😭
