I haven’t seen word one about him brandishing it in any way, but I saw some stills (taken from a helicopter I believe) this morning that made it appear like his hand was reaching towards his waistband directly prior to being shot. Which is very likely enough to clear the officer of any charges sticking if he was

It’s solid enough. Still has that RE jank/clunkiness, and you can definitely feel how compressed it is with how few enemy types and how enclosed all the spaces are, but it’s definitely one of the higher-end RE games...

I haven’t tried 2 yet, despite having it on PS+ for like a year now... Should really do that one of

Bit of an overstatement to say it “killed the survival horror genre”... It certainly evolved it, and definitely made a bunch of them cross over with shooters, but that’s not killing the genre, that’s opening it up.

I mean, it’s pretty obviously responsible for Dead Space, which fell off it’s own cliff eventually, but

I’m super-curious as to how movement will work in that game. Well, in most PsVR games really, but that one especially.

90% of the Oculus/Gear/Cardboard stuff seems so afraid to let people just walk around (ala FPS.) I’m surprised something that looks as free/chaotic in movement as Rigs does is among the PsVR launch

Hah... I’d love a solid new Tenchu game, but equating this dev team to stealth at this point seems borderline insane to me...

They have so ingrained into me at this point that enemies can see me from 200 yards away, and through walls. (Unless of course, their backs are turned.)

God, that would be tiring, both physically and emotionally... I’m just envisioning that Wii-Boxing game where I felt like I was going to die after 10 minutes from physical exhaustion, except now, with the added stress of immersion in a jump-scare based world of demons, and the constant fear of insta-kills/death...

Yeah,

Blerg... I know it sounds crazy to say it out-loud, but I love that the games kind of “encourage you” to be as cheap/cheesy as possible in your tactics, including hitting enemies in areas you can’t even reach. (Which would include behind gates/walls.)

I also enjoy how easy it is to get ravaged by something seemingly

The beautiful thing about Dark Souls is that 98% of what is so amazing about it (to me) has very little to do with the story-lines, characters, settings, or actual “genre” (whatever that even means anymore.)

So, no new “Dark Souls” really means nothing to me, despite being an ardent fan of all five games... Just keep

They talked a little about VR for it at gamescom last month... Apparently there’s only a single “mission” being developed at the moment, it’s Rogue One themed, exclusive to PsVR, free if you own the game, and sounds like it’s going to be a space battle, likely culminating in a run against a Star Destroyer.

Not so they’ve announced yet, but there is a space battle mission coming that will play in PSVR... Supposedly it’s themed for Rogue One, and includes a face-off against a Star Destroyer.

Obviously never addressed in the films, but according to the EU it has artificial gravity that is set on a per-sector basis.

I believe they explained it as things like the hanger bays being as you see them in film (up is up, down is down, in relation to the whole of the station), but surface cities, blaster turrets,

Well, they make a lot more profit from DLC than game sales, so it’s in their best interest to keep that side of it going as long as possible... Beyond that, the game was rushed to market, so I doubt they had the time during the initial dev cycle to work on more timely DLC, as per usual.

I’m not sure what the actual

My local news this morning claimed that the biological mother was a self-admitted “crack whore.” Regardless of any of the rest of it... that was a pretty surprising thing to hear a news anchor say out-loud.

This kid never had a chance.

Not sure I agree with posting/publicly displaying mugshots either though... Those aren’t of a person convicted of any crime, just someone the police decided in their infinite wisdom to charge with something.

Every time I see one I wonder how I would handle that if I had been falsely accused of something and now my dumb

I haven’t seen it in print, but on my local radio news this morning they claimed the police force said they were unable to blur the child’s face before posting as it would have been “tampering with evidence.”

Good lord do I hope that kind of inanity did not actually come from someone in charge at this police

Thing is, you wouldn’t actually want this particular gun to have the orange tip... Pretty much for specifically the reason you’re citing.

This gun in question is in fact a weapon, and putting garish tips/coloring on anything capable of actually discharging a dangerous projectile only serves to negate the value of the

So far as DP goes, I have seen some mentions of it existing in 3D in older news stories, but every source I frequent for movie info (IMDB, Wiki, BluRay.com, etc) cite it as never seeing any 3D cinema release... IMAX yeah, but no 3D, post-converted or otherwise, so it’s not surprising there’s no 3DBD of it. Granted,

You’re clearly a monster. GI Joes would be horribly over-matched against Master of the Universe; they’re half the size and fire weapons that don’t actually hurt anyone. They have no hope against the power of GreySkull.

Thundercats vs Master of the Universe on the other hand, now that’s a fight.

(Also, ignore Toy

Could not agree more. I’ll watch some Netflix original stuff on occasion (Marvel shows, etc), but I have zero interest in watching most movies in streaming video...

The whole reason I spent ass-loads of money on my projector, screen, and BluRay collection was for picture quality. Upscaled content or even crappier

Huh? Deadpool was never released in 3D in theaters...

But regardless, I’m with ya. I love 3D BluRay, and have zero interest in the current wave of 4K tvs, that are either up-scaling or streaming content with even crappier compression/bit-rates because of larger file-sizes... The whole reason I buy Blurays is picture
