I always wonder why people doing blatantly illegal things discuss them over email accounts which can be easily read later. Why the fuck would you create a trove of evidence against yourself when there are alternative options for talking to people that aren’t logged?

I live in the Seattle area. We hear a lot about Ms. Solo’s (and her husband’s) various misadventures. I believe Hope Solo should be subjected to the same punishment (in other words, kicked off of her team) that a guy would be for this many DV arrests. And she needs help.

Thanks for this. I am a Seattle fan who hates that the Reign promotes Solo as the star of the team, and women’s soccer promotes her as the face of the sport. She may be a great player, but does she have to be highlighted in every promo? All the women players work just as hard and don’t act like assholes off the pitch.

The main thing that gripes my ass whenever someone does a profile of Solo is the way that her behavior, whether overtly or not, is somehow explained away or justified by her tough childhood.
