I am not a baseball fan so forgive me if this is a dumb question: if this technology is available, why does the sport need umpires to call balls and strikes anymore?

I’m with you on the music - I’ve liked “EDM” since Blue Monday - but not the smartphones. Yeah, that’s fair. I just think the keeper could have easily made it tough(er) for Messi to score but didn’t. If Messi shoots for the far post at least a defender can (maybe) stick out a leg to divert it, but not protecting the short side is a pretty basic error.

Phenomenal play from a phenomenal player, but...shouldn’t the keeper have done a bit better? Keepers should never get beaten low at the near post. Yeah, I know Messi’s a genius, but IMHO the keeper showed too much of the near post.
