That’s literally how some news paper will print.

I’m more impressed with the very large span of the hanger. Can’t have supporting columns in the middle, I assume.

I think the advantage is mainly the thin air at 35,000ft. Rockets use a lot of fuel to push through dense air in lower altitude. Max Q (i.e. maximal dynamic pressure) on typical rockets happens around 35,000-46,000ft. By starting off at 35,000ft, you skip the most fuel-intensive part of the journey.

It is a gravel road, so it just take some gravel, a shovel, and a good tamper.

Nobody knows.

This is nothing new. I live on a private road. We patch potholes as soon as they show up. There is no discussion, no planning, no tax increase, no bond sale, no HOA due, no delay. A pothole appears; some one patches it; could be me; could be my neighbor; could be anyone.

Meanwhile, we keep on getting fatter. I see how this is going.

Don’t need bed liner?

That’s exactly why it should phase out, similar to how various tax credit phases out as income goes up. If someone want a $100k P90D Model X, he/she is going to get it, regardless of the EV credit.

If the average price of ICE car is $35k, then the goal should be to lower the average price of comparable EVs to $30k or less.

On one hand, there is definitely still a need for EV credit to encourage further development.

No such problem in the freedom capital of the world, USA. We’ll just take your house through Eminent Domain.

Don’t get me wrong; I want to believe you. I want self-driving cars. I want people who don’t want to focus on driving to be in fully self-driving cars, so I can finally get back on motorcycles again without having to worry about sudden death all the time. But judging by the state of software development, I’m not

So how do these cars meet pedestrian safety regulations?

A few years ago, I really wanted a C6 Z06. But the price made no sense. A brand new C7 Z51 was a much better deal. It is not *that* much down on power and torque, and the interior quality is miles better.

I don’t know man; just ignore them.

1,000-year is not a very long time, in terms of evolution. We won’t be 10x smarter than today. Judging by the trend of the last 50 years, we might get dumber collectively.

1000 years ago, we operated wagons powered by horses/cattles/goats/dogs, or even slaves. Today, the power comes from an engine, but it is still operated by a human.

And when you come out and find out your car has been stolen, with a full tank of gas in it, they will happily let you use the store phone to call 911.
