The best part of the F1 is that they could race it. There isn't a series (AFAIK) that you could race the P1 (or 918 or Huayra or F150) in.

They won't say yet. I'm not even sure they've figured out exactly how they're going to do it. Darren Cox talked about Toyota's supercapacitors and Porsche's flywheels. I think they're going to have a few batteries and trade them out throughout the race.
They're also running Garage 56 at Le Mans with an electric car, and they are trying to bring that technology to LMP1.
