Tell us you didn’t read the article without telling us you didn’t read the article.

god, reading entire 500 word articles is hard, huh?

And seems to be trying to deliberately define anyone who has serious concerns with a product as of the same nature as those posting death threats

I feel like I read a different article. I haven’t played Halo, and likely won’t, so I really don’t care either way, but Zack’s description of the game, as much as there even was one, seemed pretty neutral here, and I didn’t see much of a defense of the studio that made the game, just a plea not to personally attack

“Death threats aren’t cool BUUUUUT...” is always a take where a poster should just not hit “publish” here. And it happens way too much on Kotaku comment threads.

I wonder how that statistic changes when you filter out players with...say, less than one hour of playtime?

I sort of disagree. I think most people engaged in customization in H3 and especially Reach (don’t remember 4/5). I think any default armor permutation is going to mean less when it’s a reflection of nothing. The other systems were very cut and dry and felt effective b/c of that. From a quote of another person involved, the toy Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story is based on a very successful live action (in universe) movie which spawned a cartoon in the Toy Story universe (which they actually made called Buzz Lightyear: Star Command) and the toy is based on that

Did you seriously feel a need to write this article? Why? Whether a small development studio is all male or all female or what-have-you does not matter. Your statement of, “So, presumably, the founder had met at least a couple of women who were skilled enough to work at one of the highest-profile video game companies

It’s probably for people who have Gamepass and have yet to play Avengers, which is probably a lot of people. Meanwhile in recent months I haven’t seen all that much hype for New World, if anything FF XIV has been getting much more discussion.

Memes are dumb, memes in games are dumb but I’m ok with it. My kids fucking love memes and there’s no doubt who they’re pandering to with these. Microsoft needs a new generation to embrace halo in order for it to continue to be a core franchise for them.

As a lifelong Democrat can I just say that the liberal bias in media has grown beyond tiresome. Roughly 50% of the US population is conservative. Conservatism includes a large swath of beliefs and opinions and yet anyone who so much as questions the most progressive views is instantly labeled a MAGA Nazi. Whatever

1) It’s child-friendly art design means it won’t get de-monetized on youtube, so it’s a perfect game for channels to play endlessly as a source of income. This in turn is a massive free advertising stream for Fortnite, bringing in new players. This is the main reason why Fortnite overtook PUBG. Also why Fall Guys and

Yeah, if we’re going to cancel plans because of climate catastrophes, we’d never do anything.
