I hate this “fake holiday” crap, as if people calling a holiday fake have ever meant anything more than “Well, I don’t like it.” Yes, the idea was made popular by a television show. And? Modern interpretations of Santa Claus were heavily influenced by Coca-Cola. Halloween is a bastardization of Samhain. Things change,

Sorry

I would genuinely be curious to see what a majority of people would consider quality, pants-wetting-level sexting. Not pics, not snaps, I mean just words you send to a person you’re flirting with. Because shit, I know my sexts are just as awkward and stupid (although I did wince at the “so am I hahahah” bit - come on

Thanks for giving him the attention and spreading knowledge of who this guy is - I hadn’t heard of him and now I have!

So, this looks cool and interesting to me. BUT, I fell off the Destiny wagon at the end of The Taken King. How the hell do I get caught up or figure out just what is happening story-wise?

It’s a fucking commercial for a TOY. Video games are TOYS. Jesus Christ, the level of self-importance people think they have because they can “roast” a commercial.

I genuinely don’t understand the bits about being alone, or being (in)significant. Maybe there’s no life besides us in our solar system, but our galaxy? The *universe*? As you pointed out in the very first slide, those pictures are of *galaxies,* with billions of stars and even more planets.

Hart is speaking

Agreed. Pratt strikes me as a guy who lucked into his lifestyle and isn’t equipped for it (frankly, very few people are). There’s always this weird sense of projection I get from discourse around Pratt, as if we weren’t talking just about him, but about all men who didn’t really have to try to succeed (not saying he

To you and cakeboss26: you can both be right. The mob can be ravenously dogpiling on a woman because misogyny is deeply ingrained in our culture, AND men who have been victims of domestic violence can feel vindication that their plight is real.

It is an impossible task given how celebrity-obsessed and social media

Ummmmm, again… it’s one of those things like, like if you just watch combat footage...

Oh, so the thing that you’ll be engaging in 80-90% of the time that you’re playing? THAT part might be similar, but the rest of your game is TOTALLY different?

So here’s the only issue I have with the RetroTINK, and I’m curious how you handle it: the controllers of yester-generation do not reach particularly far. With today’s massive screens, I feel like I’m getting swallowed if I sit that close, and the IR tech means wireless isn’t a great option either.

If you already have an N64 and Super Mario 64: The RetroTINK mentioned above.

If you don’t mind buying a Switch and getting the upscaled version: buy Super Mario 3D All-Stars

The Voodoo Boys section was one of my favorite parts of the game. All the talk about the Blackwall and what lies beyond felt almost Lovecraftian. Although we know Night City is devouring resources and Earth is on course to become inhospitable, it was seeing it all through the lens of the net that made it feel so small

I have an Xbox Series X upstairs in the living room and a Series S in the basement. The basement only gets love occasionally, since it’s hooked up to the home theater and there are some games you just don’t want to play on a projector. But I, for one, would love to be able to pop in a disc on the upstairs Series X and

Because good grief, these silly little boys are desperate for attention.

I more or less combine the two ideas presented in the study: I believe in soulmates, but it’s not a matter of finding the perfect person who was made just for you. That’s narcissistic and too close to superstition for my taste. Instead, I believe that soulmates are made, through hard work and reflection - both

Cyberpunk 2077. Night City is so densely packed with detail and life that playing while high will make you feel even more transported to another place.

Was with you up until Sabrina. That show got the aesthetic right and almost nothing else. Sabrina’s character was inconsistent, shitty, and at times just plain unlikable. The threats never felt like they went beyond the walls of the witch school, making her world feel small. Some of the writing was just god awful too.

Different game, but when I play Hunt: Showdown with my friend each week, I almost always give him a playful jab or shot of friendly fire. It’s a way to let off steam in an aggressive-yet-playful way for me. Like the wild hand slaps and stereotypical butt slaps of pro sports players.

Why wouldn't it?
