I would make the potentially blasphemous suggestion that someone who isn’t into anime watch the original Fullmetal Alchemist instead of Brotherhood. The latter is certainly more true to the manga, and I know people appreciate it for that, but it also has a lot more stereotypical anime flair that might put someone off.

I’m sympathetic to Loehr’s plight. I myself don’t use voice chat or hardly ever play competitive because I just don’t want to deal with the toxicity. (I also had, for a time, a “nonstandard voice”)

Agreed, maybe it's the Bandaid Namco anime version much how Code Vein was the Bandai Namco anime version of a Souls game?

*shrug* It’s no worse than ESPN’s reporting on pro athlete’s personal lives. SonicFox is a top tier competitor with name recognition in the scene and his furry-ness is a big part of that, it’s not unreasonable to think people would be interested in him developing his personal (or fursona, as it were).

“Dominique “SonicFox” McLean has made a name for themselves as a fighting game great. Back in 2018, Kotaku first profiled the esports competitor...”

There’s like half a dozen at my Walmart. You uh... want me to get you one?

Can someone tell me what tweet #3 is? The catgirl with... I can't tell, but looks kinda like a chainsaw?

I will pay them... *checks pockets* $20.

You calmly expressed a nuanced opinion that is, imo, absolutely correct. Not every feeling or observation is a commandment or ultimatum, which is what a lot of people seem to be missing here. On a scale of 1-10 on the shiftiness meter, this is barely above getting a Pepsi when I asked for Coke. Doesn't make it a

I was semi-onboard (what can I say, I love Reynolds) until the “Enjoy your lifetime of virginity” joke. 1) Not a huge fan of promoting the idea that sex should be the end goal for men (or that good men are sexless dweebs), and 2) good god dammit that joke is old. It's SO old.

There's "seeing it coming" and "encouraging it to happen." Sorry, by most accounts and translations (I won't pretend to speak a language I don't know, even if it would suit my argument) they actively encouraged Blitzchung to make his statement. A statement I agree with, by the way.

They encouraged Blitzchung to make his statement and ducked to give him focus, not to avoid punishment. If you can (even partially) agree with punishing Blitzchung, you should agree with punishing the casters as well.

What an incredibly insulting tone to your question. Get the eff outta here with your high horse attitude. I’m sure they had Mineralblu ask for that information and like, millions of people have Twitter accounts. What the hell do you think social media is?

Agreed. I was drawn in by the tiger and wolf pic (I know, you’re shocked) and figured it must be easy to find since clearly it was striking enough to be part of the header image. But I can’t be bothered to sift through this many entries of dribble to try and find something interesting. Curation is sorely missed.

Not only do people like Spawn, they wanted him in Injustice 2 more than Hellboy and the Terminator *combined,* according to Ed Boon’s Twitter poll (not exactly scientific data there, but just goes to show the character definitely has his fans).

The Legacy of Kain series. It went through so many strange iterations that were very Of Their Time and it would be great to see the whole story in a cohesive, attractive package.

Cute! We used the Super Mario Odyssey amiibo - Peach for her, Bowser for me (what can I say, I identify more with the dragon turtle monarch than the plumber)

I thought this twist on Donald and Goofy was pretty legit.

Well, I somehow missed the text at the top of this article and now Endgame has been spoiled for me too. Fun.
