I worked for Honda when these came out. We had a customer trade in his Civic Si for one with a 6 speed manual and Honda accessory 17” wheels installed. Thing was a slug, but handled like it was on rails.

That’s why after 16 years working in them, I left. Independent garages not only treat their employees much better, but their customers too.

Happens more often than you’d think. In the 19 years I’ve been working on cars, I’ve got some horror stories.

Both of my kids do this. I’ve got a 10 year old and a 4 year old. Any time we come home, I have to stand there and make the 10 year old take all the trash out or it’ll be stuffed under the seat or in the pocket of the seat back.

As a mechanic, my only gripe with traditional door pulls that are just little recesses in the door card are that they give people a place to stuff their tissues and napkins.
