Can someone explain to me why Chevy’s new design direction is “make it look like something from Space Invaders smashed into the front end”?

We’d have beaten Mercedes if it weren’t for those meddling Ferraris!”

Ford: Lets give everything we make the face of an Aston Martin

Not sure about the Flex, but I’ve replaced the PTU on a Taurus and an Explorer of the same vintage and not only are they surprisingly affordable from the dealer, but not that hard to replace. Probably took me a half hour on the Explorer, ~45 minutes on the Taurus.

You forgot the upcoming Ford Mustang Bronco

I avoid this issue by rooting for drivers, not teams. Kimi and Ricciardo make up for lack of podiums with pure (lack of, in Kimi’s case)charisma.

I try to avoid this by being a fan of the driver, not the team. I don’t care what car they drive, I always pull for Kimi and Ricciardo.

Fuck you, I won’t do whatcha tell me.

You’re not wrong there. Makes me wonder if they’ll make it sporty or not.  “2022 Ford F-150 Raptor Lightning” doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue.

Call it “Lightning” and watch the truck bros flip their shit

Or Lightning.

Headgaskets weep in its honor.

My 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo Z 34. I put an underdrive crank pulley on it, shorter dog bone upper motor mounts on it, a high flow catalytic converter, and a GM performance parts suspension kit on it. I absolutely adored that car. It died unfortunately in a nasty car accident that I have posted here a few times. I still

But that leaves a massive open-end here. What “other areas” will Bugatti be focusing on? Best miles per gallon? Most expensive production car? Most complicated aerodynamics? Least amount of screens?”

Or just modify the LEGO Speed Champions version.

Part out?

Suspension” was the wrong word to use. I was referring specifically to the ISP style seat with something like 4” of foam strategically placed to minimize impacts like what Scott experienced.

That is surprising since suspension seats are definitely a thing. Common in desert racing and monster trucks. I’d think since these guys routinely get air, even though they *usually* don’t overshoot the landing ramp, they’d run them too.

“Why doesn’t BP give a shit?”
