@NateN: I agree with everything you say, including the single man theory. I felt the same way after seeing the first Saw.

@jargy1: This is exactly how I felt after seeing the first Saw movie.

Dark Forces for the PC was so awesome.

@timgray: Unless you have a video console or are trying to future proof for 3D.

@Kaminari: True. I know Quantic Dream is not Bioware but the Mass Effect games (not even counting the threading between the sequels) provided a much greater feeling that my consequences matter in the big picture.

@zelfmoordkonijn: I know there are definitely differences but the issue is that at its core the game is a who-done-it mystery.

@GeekwithSwagg: Anyone who pre-ordered it from (I may be wrong) just about any retailer got this for free.

@Chron4no: Not sure about the DLC as I haven't DLed it yet, but the main game sure does. More so than any other mainstream game I've seen...

@CosmicElement: My girlfriend is not a gamer but she watched a bit of my play-through and got really into the story and kept asking which choice I selected during conversation threads.

@DoktorFunkenstein: No you are right, and neither of us want to publicly discuss the specifics here. I gave a read through on Wiki of the different possibilities for how your game can end.

The thing about the endings is not surprising.

Weird, I downloaded it and it was very aggressive about getting art even if none will exist (such as personal demos). It found one picture of a random band, and another picture of two men kissing on the lips (but not pornographic).

I grabbed the Dante's Inferno deal and applied the $10 game credit I received from pre-ordering God of War 3. So it came out $29 with free shipping. Not bad at all......

@wicket_lfe: I believe that is the infamous "1984" inspired Apple super bowl ad.

They can cram high fructose corn syrup into anything.

I don't think I'm playing Mass Effect right.

Baby cactus.

@Faceless.Troll: It's not old news until "ass effect" is immortalized as a porn parody.

@fyngyrz: What you are calling "basic" functionality is either unused or never heard of by 99% of their users.
