I use a surface pro 3 with a USB 3.0 hub connecting an audio interface, a mouse and a control surface. It works fine without hiccups. You should be able to get a non-powered hub and do everything you need.

This review swayed me to purchase. I went to Amazon (in the good ole USA! USA!) and they are shipping it overnight. It will be here tomorrow like everyone else's.

of the 33 games I've played, I count 14 which I played for less than one hour total.

Games owned: 62

interesting thing about your argument is that every format you mentioned can be enjoyed on your PC or phone right now. The information can be extracted and replayed with today's technology. I can't do that with an older generation game. And perhaps I should.

- If i'm signed up for the service, can I now store ANY song offline to listen to on my phone or another device?——————-yes. Up to 10 devices, should be limited only by your storage capabilities.

I like looking at the Spotify sidebar for inspiration. I'd rather see what my friends are actively listening to than be influenced by an "expert" or an algorithm.

I am doing the trial and my allotment of 20,000 songs hasn't changed. You're paying the $10/month for the on demand portion.

you had a lot to show for it. If you spend $500 on music and receive approximately 50 albums that is great. That is money well spent. However over those five years you were spending money to have access to waaay more than 50 albums on demand, from any device. I don't really think about mp3s as something tangible

Because I use a Galaxy Nexus I'd love nothing more than if this service picks up and I can ditch Spotify. However here are some initial frustrations I am having with the service:

Right now there is a "pin" icon within the mobile app to save a playlist for offline listening but it wasn't working when I tried to use it. Hopefully this will get fixed.

I won't say too much for those who haven't seen the show yet, but there are many references to him being a secret gamer. But it was funny, when I saw the above scene my first reaction was "have they been setting him up as a gamer simply to make this Vita placement less weird??"

Hah, I wasn't trying to make Tron: Legacy fans feel bad about it. I just know I'm not alone in that opinion and didn't want it clouding my larger point that it was a good example of Disney bringing back legacy actors for the older crowd without it being totally contrived or awful. This isn't Brendan Fraser bringing

which would actually be great if it was a real set with more plates. Everything on the table would look uniform from a distance, but close up everyone gets a unique dish.

I personally thought Tron: Legacy was terrible, so I don't really want to get into the merits of that film specifically. HOWEVER the one thing they did very well was incorporate two of the main characters from the original in a way that felt reasonably organic and vital to the story. The devil will be in the

DON'T DO IT! Just last week I needed to do a full wipe on a laptop I don't really use and wanted to convert into a media server. Since I saw the Win 8 promotion was ending I decided to bite and spend the $40 to see if I end up liking it enough on the secondary PC to put it on my main machine. It just won't stop

What's interesting is that the climate has changed considerably for consoles since the 360/ps3 launch. At this point there are millions and millions of gamers locked into a particular ecosystem and devs make very few system exclusives. So unless there's something major which will happen with either console, people

"On-the-fly next-word suggestions" — Jelly Bean has this and it is awesome. The first time I typed in "suck" and Google already *knew* that I intended for "balls" to be the next word was a meaningful moment between me and my phone.

according to some of the source I was clicking through Cablevision is one of the *only* US IPs to support it. Wild considering how loath they are to try anything.

Oh shitty Netflix discovery...my ISP is Cablevision which appears to support this, but good luck figuring out what 3D titles actually exist!
