1,200 is not an eating disorder! It's the recommend daily target on MFP. I lost 40lb that way in a year, and even now often eat at that level. I'm not even vaguely anorexic and my doctors say my weight, health and intake is completely fine.

I looked at Kate Winslet's photo in a glance and thought to myself "god. She is so beautiful." Then I went back and gave it a 5 second look and thought about why I shouldn't think that. Then I realized I think she's beautiful because that is almost exactly how mother looks and that's how I'm going to look one day. I'm…
"She's also an outlier in that at 5'4" and 105 lbs, her height-weight combination put her slightly below the threshold doctors who use the BMI scale would consider "healthy." She's also below what Weight Watchers would consider healthy for her height."
Interesting. So when it comes to overweight people, BMI is garbage…
Well obviously Japanese culture considers these girls chubby. You don't, you consider them normal. They're not being marketed at you.
Japanese people are normally more petite and slimmer than Westerners. Part of it is the traditional diet, and part is genetics. It's not like they're a nation of anorexics : |
Then what is the point of calling them fat? lol. normal has a meaning.
The more I read about this, the more it tickles me as being motivated by a first world privileged view. Russia is not the developed world, they do not have the kind of infrastructure that we enjoy in the west, they do not have a population willing or economically able to spend money on going to the vet which is quite…
Maybe I'm hyper sensitive because I do struggle with body image and eating disorders, but there is a world of judgement in this sentence:
I think she looks good in the hat. Am I wrong?
I think a lot of people were taught that but it's not true.
I know, that poor thing. It was terrified. That's not a funny moment at all.
Animals in distress! So hilarious. NOT. Stop washing your cats people. It is really unnecessary.
I don't know why but but he is bearded he looks more feminine to me
King Triton looks like Jay Leno.
Thank you for this. Seriously. This is just ridiculous. It was clearly said lightheartedly and in jest. To remotely accuse Steve Martin, who's co-starred with every ethnicity imaginable, of being a racist is just ridiculous. He deleted the comment for one reason only: people like the Jezzie-crazies would attack…
As a migraine sufferer, the thing that makes me suspicious is people who claim Excedrin Migraine cured their migraines. Real migraines are not cured by Excedrin Migraine alone which, by the way, has the exact same ingredients as regular Excedrin. It might be a bad headache. But it is not a migraine.
I had the flu two years ago. Actual flu, not a bad cold. Since then I assume ~98% of those who claim to have the flu are lying or don't know what the flu is.
You're not part of the solution, Mr. Haworth. Besides, wasn't pain supposed to serve as a way for your body to scream at you that you're hurting it? Seems like a terrible idea to shut down that voice.
So at what point do we get to say that you guys are picking on people who are mentally ill? I get that's she's a fun troll to poke and hate-read but it seems like she also has an illness here. It's pretty obvious she's channeling her self-hate outward. Having dealt with an eating disorder myself—and having had many…
