The sad fact is I only heard about this game because the dev sucks. It sounds like it could have been fun. Maybe I’ll go pirate it
Since hydraulic lifts can beat any human there seems little point in weightlifting competitions any more.
This is why I raise an eyebrow whenever ostensibly left-leaning people argue that “identity politics” (which I would argue LGBTQ+ issues fall under) are a “distraction” from the U.S.’s economic problems (the so-called “real problem”). We absolutely need universal healthcare and stronger labor laws. But if we don’t…
If is a company that employs people and thus is responsible for their healthcare and insurance.
You can’t be fair to the right to abortion and be fair to people wanting to remove the choice to do what you want to your body. The minute you are fair to the latter is the minute you remove “fairness” to the former
This isn’t about a “game company” being a parent. This is about an employer performing their basic duty to provide the health services to their employees. I will forgive you for being ignorant if you’re not an American, but in this country the state has ceded any and all responsibility for the health of its citizens…
If you’re going to release meager political statements purely for marketing purposes then your employees have a right to push back and actually test you on it. Especially with a law that effects every woman in the country despite only being supported by about 30% of its people.
The right to bodily autonomy and privacy is not political.
It’s not about “fairness of opinion,” it’s about what your health insurance and benefits that you rely on every day will cover and provide.
That’s not really it. GOP has long since abandoned the “family” aspect of Republican politics and have since replace with it a christian masculine focus that borders on cartoonish. And yet, think about the games we regular consume and the type of messaging they have. Before anyone gives me shit, no I am not saying…
I play with my 7yo son.
My health keeps me from being able to play as Niantic desires and I live in the part of the midwest that they don’t care about, so having remote raids added was such a relief as I could team up with my friends in parts of the country Niantic does cater to and get to finally enjoy some events and actually see some…
I don’t know anything about the ethnicity or race of this person, but I work as a coach and advocate of disabled people. In this case, this man’s disability is a huge deal. This man could easily die in prison if he doesn’t receive adequate care, which he has not been given. Losing that amount of weight that quickly,…
You are entitled to you opinion but in my experience learning to live with people with different beliefs then you is a good thing. Personally I’m agnostic. I find people with faith fascinating because I don’t have it. Whether that faith in an higher power or faith in the fact there isn’t one. I don’t tolerate…
Actually before the 20th century Islam was far more tolerant of homosexuality. The backlash against it is a mostly 20th century invention stemming from it being lumped into a large bucket of things considered “Western” and thus bad by Islamic Scholars fighting back colonialism from the west.
Oooo hot atheist take. So original!
It’s also worth pointing out that not all Muslims are against LGTBQ+ rights. There are a lot of good papers written about Islam and homosexuality and how views have evolved and changed over the last few centuries.
There is a very simply problem with this viewpoint: taking a neutral stance always favors the oppressors.
If you want to practice what you say, maybe go after the Islamaphobes (of which there are some here), and not the LGBTQ+ community.
What conservatives and other bigots have done to your community, for many, many years, is abhorrent.
Don’t lump us in with our common enemy. Actually go after the bigots, and STOP.…
