Don’t know who that Ben Younger character is, but its a good start that he’s a former bike racer. He really should go talk to Ron Howard for advice because Rush was fantastic.

I was a huge fan of some of the Spike TV Powerblock shows. Extreme 4x4, Horsepower TV, Trucks, etc.

Well you’re a bit SOL. Any bike with a decent amount of suspension travel is going to have a pretty high seat height. Not impossible by any means, just know that you’ll have to get used to one-footing it at a stop. Some bikes have aftermarket low seats and you can also lower the suspension a bit too

I’m on board! I said basically the same thing, albeit not as extreme, when the JK was first coming out. I still prefer the TJ to JK, but back then I was hoping they’d keep building a bare bones stripper TJ and sell it for dirt cheap.

Actually a lot of people, myself included, swap YJ body Tubs to replace badly rusted CJ-7 tubs. The only difference is one of two of the body mounts have to be moved a bit and the YJ tub is galvanized so less prone to rust, but otherwise the stampings are identical

I think the blame here needs to be dumped on Race Control, they should have taken decisive action and immediately told Verstrappen to let Vettel by or given him a drive through penalty or whatever. It just was shit luck that Riccardo was bearing down on him so quickly.

I like you, you’re a battery half-full type of guy aren’t you

Oh he definitely gunned it to block to the BMW, I would have done the exact same thing. Especially since the BMW was honking and being a general ass-hat leading up to the shake & bake

I lived in Pensacola, FL when hurricane Ivan made landfall as a strong cat 3 in 2004 and it fucked shit up. I got to miss about 3 weeks of school because of the damage.

Sooo you’re saying I can become a space pirate?

This one I shot at Cars & Coffee here in Cincinnati I always come back to. The light, the background, the dude, the colors, and especially the car. I just love it.

I agree with the sentiment, but have you seen the trunk in these things? it makes the overhead bins on an MD-80 (or any region airliner) look cavernous.

I picked up the book from an airport bookstore on my way home for the holidays because the title combined with the dog on the cover hit two things I really love. It was such a fantastic read that I finished it partway through my return flight.

Ah makes sense, I figured there was some other agreement in place.

3rd Gear: I thought the Chicken tax discouraged trucks from being imported? So how does Toyota manage to build Tacomas in Mexico and bring them to the states? Is there a loophole for Mexico? or are they just paying it?

I like where your heads at

if you really really want to waste time on it, you can also account for the slight variation in the acceleration due to gravity that occurs with altitude.

You’re 100% right. I should have phrased that better. I don’t mean people should be actually afraid while driving to the point of causing erratic behavior as you point out. The point is not so much to have fear per-say but more to have to respect and fully comprehend the situation. A good example is what is adopted by

Not sure how easy it would be to swap into a CJ-2A, but I swapped a T-18 into my old CJ-7 and the granny-gear is super nice to have when off-roading. Combined with the Dana 300 Tcase with a twin-stick and it was a sweet setup!

Some people will see your survey results and think that its further proof that #millenials are part of an “pussy generation” or whatever. I think its actually a good thing. They aren’t fucking stupid. They should be afraid of driving. The problem is that the vast majority of drivers don’t respect what you point out,
