Don’t be afraid of speeding a little if it gets you out of a potential trouble spot. I’m not condoning excessive speeding, but do yourself a favor and make use of the bikes speed to put some distance between you and traffic.

Oooooh I like it. The stock bars were a little to tall and wide for my liking. I think thats the only change the bike really needed. I love the dark bronze and flat black look, but I’d probably just get a regular scrambler and swap out the bars

I really want to find a school like this! Anybody know of a good one in the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana area?

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but maybe they should consider switching them to the F-35 once its ready. I grew up in Pensacola watching the Blues in the Hornets and I’m sure as Super Hornets they’d be great, but maybe it would help the public image of the F-35 program by showing off the new plane.

I’m usually pretty quick to make the whole “looks like a transformer” complaint, but seriously what the hell is going on here!?

Drive it like its meant to be driven. Autocross, trackdays, strip out the interior, put a cage in it and rally that fucker. That car is rare or special only because it’s been neglected.

Its really the amperage not the voltage that kills ya. A taser is around 50,000 volts.

I did notice while I was in Daytona last week the cops there ride Victorys. I wouldn’t expect them to be as good as the BMW, but its probably a nice improvement over the Harley’s. They certainly look a lot meaner

And that beacon is perched on the end of a mechanical tail phallus

For the cold runs I usually go with a long sleeve under armor base layer shirt, running shorts, gloves and a hat.

There’s nothing wrong with isolating all of the radio, air conditioning, bluetooth, and navigation controls into one screen. It can just take a while to memorize the user-interface and get the system perfectly setup.

I was about to say the same thing. Its a great all-around/do-anything bike. Why wouldn’t you take it canyon carving or on long trip? If I had a garage full of bikes specialized for each type of riding then yeah I’d probably pick the R1 for the track or the Huge Harley or Goldwing for the long tour, but I’ll probably

I’ve been considering the scrambler too. I haven’t ridden either of them yet, but I sat on them back to back. I’m withholding final judgement until I ride both, but the Scout felt like it was worth every penny of the price whereas the Scrambler felt way overpriced. I liked the scrambler, but it didn’t feel like it was

I liked the scout before, then last week I got to sit on the scout and scout sixty and I fell in love. My only remaining concerns were how it felt to ride to someone coming from a sport riding background. Now I know for sure I need one. Once winter get its ass out of here I’m going to get one in Indian Red.

I really really really like the Scout and want to hear your impressions of the Scout Sixty. I usually have no interest in cruisers, but I’ve fallen in love with the Scout after I got to sit on one last week.

that is adorable I love it

I saw that they have a different seat, bars, and slightly more rearward controls for us vertically challenged folk, but I really wish they had legit mid/standard position controls

That is a very tastefully modified CRX, shame I’ve never seen one in person that hasn’t been riced to hell, beat to shit, or some combo thereof

I really wish it was, but sadly its not mine.
