women are also big into Wranglers. in the case of the Wrangler i get it - it's romantic, cute, fun. cheery. with the 4runner i can't pinpoint why. my wife has grown to really like her fancy 4runner though (Lexus gx). that being said she HATED test driving 4th and 5th gen 4runners.

What I can’t figure out is this: Ever since the third-gen model (when I started paying attention to them as mainstream cars) they have been incredibly popular with young women, but that goes against all the condescending scientific marketing and reports you see everywhere else. So much so, I almost can’t see them

The Detroit-based automaker has said it plans to sell 20 electric cars globally by 2023.

Neutral: I negotiate everything, especially the BS fees and add-ins. Those are almost purely profit for the dealer, and many are gimmicks.

I go to the dealership on purchase day like I’m going on a multiday hiking/camping trip. I’m there to annoy and frustrate them. I break them down. I’m certain that every dealer I’ve ever worked with short of one has wanted to physically harm me by the end of the transaction.

It’s more interesting for what it doesn’t look like - the new Escape (and for that matter the coming “baby Bronco”), even from the side view where it’s hardest to build distinction through cheap-to-vary trim. Presumably the three share most hard points but the skins and even the DLOs are different.

It has a very Range Rover profile. That is not a bad thing.

Yes. You most definitely want a Lincoln. I have owned 2 continentals so far (RIP my first 2018, totaled with 29k miles at 10 months old.) And I’m on my second black label. I had the choice to buy a LOT of cars for $82,000 but this Conti won it. Its fast. Like, beats 5.7 Hemis, STis and GT mustang’s ALL DAY type fast

Do I . . . do I want to buy a Lincoln? Because this thing looks 10x better than its competitors. And the new Continental is so goddamn legit. What is happening to the world? What is happening to me? These look like ideal commuter and road-trip cars!

Welp. This was WAY different than when I had to tell my parents I was pregnant at 18. I was feeling scared, ashamed and confused and putting any of it on video was the LAST thing from my mind.

Where’s the “SO TEXAN” version!? How can I let other truck buyers know that I’m like, the most Texan? I need my truck to have a panoramic sunroof for my literal ten-gallon hat and so I can work on my Clint Eastwood face by staring into the sun while driving.

More than anything else, truck buyers want to impress their buddies at the boat club.

That’s what they want you to think

The older I get, the more often I find the answer is just capitalism.

As an Ohio State fan, i have to say: Nick Bosa is and always has been a giant piece of shit. Fuck that dude.

Uber and Lyft (prior to its IPO) were Americas one true chance to soak the rich that they so often want to bring down. They lose money on every trip and you, the consumer, still get to your location on the cheap. Now the general populace is going to pay it all back on this ridiculous IPO.

What if we made a service that finally killed terrible taxis, and made venture capital bros pay for it?

Updated:

“What if we took taxis, and somehow made them extremely unprofitable?”

Sorry, obligatory:
