In case you were wondering whether tacky minimalism was possible

I would be far more hurt if any of my children turn out to be Republicans.

I think it has more of a laundering money vibe. They have plenty of cash, but as complex a distribution system as can be imagined; Cans made in England (but you can’t visit the plant? WTF? Proprietary canning tech?),
product made in another country, nothing but addresses for company locations, and yet, tons of money

Looks like a fancy money laundering operation to me. And by fancy I mean blatant at a huge scale.

The official paint scheme for British companies skating on the edge of bankruptcy.

They remind me a little bit of the Fyre festival guys. Anybody asking questions is just a hater.

A British energy drink founded in Croatia made in Austria recently released in US and UK which can’t really be purchased with, questionable financing, leadership, and history backing an American F1 Team run by an Italian with cars driven by French/Swiss and Danish drivers.

My jalopy is a stock-ish ‘26 Ford Model T, originally built as a touring car but cut up by some farmer and made into a pickup. People outside the hobby cringe and think I’m nuts for not restoring it back to perfect factory condition but it has a story of its past life that will be gone if I do.  Also if I did that

Scurvy

Some banks offer to “round up” purchases, putting the extra into a savings account.  So if you buy a hot dog for $1.29, the bank makes it an even $2 and puts $0.71 into your savings account.

You should reconsider, especially for any cars above 15K.

Let’s rewind the clock back to 2012. I was 19 years old and my first car (a 2001 Kia Rio) was on its last legs. Considering my good-ish credit, I thought now was a fantastic time to get the car of my teenage dreams, a smart fortwo (haha, I know).

Probably not a popular opinion, but I find the new MB interiors way too fussy and busy. The sarlacc monster air vents and all the LED lighting just seems way too over the top. Much prefer Volvo’s interior - calming and minimalist. And less distraction.

64 yr old was British, that was his hard Brexit.

I see a happy-puppy version of a Porsche Macan, and he just stuck his head out the window. Certainly not a bad thing.

There’s actually a very common phenomenon where people’s minds wander while they’re driving and they go into a sort of ‘autopilot.’ Have you ever pulled up in front of your house and can’t exactly recall the last few minutes of driving, or how you got there? When you spend enough time driving, it becomes so

This is just me and is only semi-related, but I think I’d have a hard time with adapting to a semi-autonomous driving system that requires continuous attention.

Peak NCAA

I like how when taxes are cut for the rich and we criticize it, we all get yelled at about how “it’s not a zero-sum game!!”
