The Ford GT competes with the likes of the 488 Pista, the Lamborghini SVJ and the McLaren 675LT. Does no transmission count? I think I prefer the feel of a direct drive electric powertrain over any automatic transmission. Tons of torque available anywhere in the rev range with zero delay is way more exciting than having to wait for a machine to shift down for you.

Hot take: this is pretty much how I would have reviewed Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2. They were entertaining enough for a fun Sunday afternoon show, but overall a bit shallow.

Design-wise this is an upgrade from the 488 in my eyes! Still not quite as elegantly beautiful as the 458 Italia, but definitely looks more sorted and less busy than the 488 design. I love the return to the 4 circle rear lights as well. Great throwback to some of the best, and prettiest, Ferraris ever.

It does have the same body style but it’s actually updated quite a bit for American customers. Especially the power train and interior tech.
