in this case there were to flagrantly different identical situations: Hamilton backed down from it (in the first lap), while MV let his balls do the thinking and didn’t back down. So there was an example on how to do it in the same race and how not to do it. And Hamilton backed down in the first lap, where actually

yeah the guy should blink. But, I’m saying it again, straight streets don’t belong in residential areas. Make them wavy with high pavement borders. Straight streets are not stimulating the driver .

meh, that’s not a big deal for the Autobahn. 300km/h would have been something but up to 250, you can do that with any limousine that has at least 210 HP. Cars routinely drive 200km/h here (an urban legend is that the AB is built for comfortable 180km/h).

15y old... so what, there were already ACC systems back then.

why not just dig the street deeper?

totally! I was thinking about even having a race that randomly distributes drivers to cars...

why do car makers still think we need any special brains in the car? I don’t want to have to learn yet another software platform - Audi and MB being the worst at pushing their useless UI. Just let me use my smartphone as the lead in the car, you just focus on making a nice car, the end.

those big fins in the kidneys are necessary to filter the plankton.

cool, I hope it becomes a thing.

raising more money... it’s needed because the hideous monster-like grilles need copious amounts of research. At least they got rid of that stupid window design around the C pillar.

yeah, nuclear will come back, I’m sure. At any rate the government already gave some signals that nuclear expertise should not disappear so not all nuclear power plants are going to be turned off for ever.

yep, my ACC doesn’t see stationary objects (admittedly is 10y old A4), it has to do with the type of sensor used. Depending on the paint of the cars in front of me (especially 30y old never repainted but in good condition), the ACC won’t see it either. Also, my ACC will only see up to 100-200m ahead...

damn, it’s like BMW is trying out of their way to put ugliness on the streets. every couple of years they find something new. As their name says, the only thing they always get right is the engine/driving experience. I pity me, driving the Autobahn and having my eye sight inflicted with these deformities appearing

that's something that could be projected on the windshield from the phone.

i like to have buttons, and few to no screens, too. A smart hardware interface is better than any touchscreen. And yeah, it should just integrate the phone. I’m much close to the phone than to the car. I think that the peugeot ami has integration for the phone directly in the console, physically.

taking into account that for motorbikes that are driven in cities, euro5 is important - especially the loud small engined ones can be quite stinky. Unless trekking bikes for highway rides, I don’t see why motorbikes should be using anything else but electrical engines, in the city. It’s not OK that a small scooter or

i wouldn’t mind having that on my 10y old A4 - the stone chips I already have on the bumper look like the moon surface.

yes, this is the question. My opinion, they should be tolerated with wide tyres that lie FLAT on the ground and not curved, so that the rider is not misusing the side walls in curves - a bike should be able to stand when not in motion, without any outside help. I imagine that a bike should have a special assistant

well if the drive is by wire, the transmission to wheels might amplify the wheel turn the closer you get the steering wheel to the 90 degrees and the steering wheel might not turn more than 90 degrees to each side.

ignorance is bliss
