talking for the German Autobahn, where I’m driving my low profile tyres at speeds up to 200Km/h summer and winter. The difference is when having low profile is on the uncontrolled and scary tremors of body roll that a higher profile induces when taking a high speed curve at 200 on the outer lane. This is one of the

/throws up

one falling motorbike driver will take out 10-20 behind it, if they’re all driving fast.

a lane full of motorcycles would be the lane of death, they would crash into each other on a regular basis, I just see how it is with dedicated bicycle lanes.

how about using proper tyres on bikes and not those slick affairs - after all it’s a highway not a race track.

I’ll give you that in the US you guys get your driver’s licence way too easily so a lot of people have it who shouldn’t. But my experience with riders in cities (because they chicken out at 200km/h on the autobahn):

focused maybe, but the difference in speed compared to the rest of the traffic if the traffic is slow, it will appear out of nowhere for the guy trying to change the lane with a car.

“legal everywhere else” nope, not legal in Germany - a motorcycle is just another vehicle. The rules are the same for all motor vehicles under 3,5t. And it sucks having to pay attention to motorcycle drivers driving between cars - you’re basically not safe in your lane when a motorcycle driver is splitting the lane.

hell yeah! anything you need to look at in a car, in order to hit the right area, is wrong. Not to mention that they placed the screen such that, except for Tesla, the screen is even taking valuable gaze space from the windshield. The moment the car is becoming too smart the car will be driving you not the other way

why would he be embarrassed, he was glorious in that movie!

A driver driving bumper cars-mode doesn’t deserve to be driver of the day. It’s just no acceptable.

“Whatever happens, though, it should be interesting to watch how the rest of the season goes down”

don’t forget that you can only charge batteries for a finite number of times (driving 160k Km according to Tesla). So it’s easy to calculate the cleanliness of an electric car. And will John Doe drive a car more than that before getting a new one, is another question... If you want to be serious about

from here in Europe, I’m still kind off excited about model X...

still too long to be called a mini...

man, that car looks awesome. reminds me of the the first golf (rabbit) generations. I want to test drive it. But let’s hope the mass production model is similar to the concept. After all the new vw scirocco looked also awesome as a concept but dropped a lot of cool features in the mass production model.

I’m sure they can use the tech from the i3s already, which is very nice to drive in the city. But the important question that mini owners have is: are they going to shorten the car back to the level of 2007? At the moment it’s just a 1 with mini attire.

thanks

US should publish the information they have so that Russia is publicly ashamed, if it’s true. Hiding information from the public is so 20th century.
