Porsche and Mercedes-Benz, for all of their faults, know how to make a damn sturdy engine.

Porsche people complain a ton = Porsche can’t get away with shit = they build relatively reliable cars.

when i was younger, i went to a dealership for a test drive. For the life of me i cannot remember the vehicle (it was used and not from he same company as the dealer). I took the vehicle out for a test drive, the entire time it felt sluggish and hard to accelerate. As we were returning, we could each (my father, and

The reaction force is only a fraction of what the mounts experience just maintaining speed on the highway.

Then why aren’t there the same issues with every other auto trans car on the road? Why there are people posting on Jalopnik saying that they have made the same mistake where it felt like the car went into park, but didn’t?

They changed an intuitive design, in use by everyone for 60 years, where you can tell by touch and position which gear is selected for one where you have to look on the dash to be sure which gear you’re in as the selector returns to the center position.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, real Jeeps have only come with an inline 4. The I6/V6 are just people movers disguised as a Jeep. /s

The truth is not hot.

Don’t stop there: Mercedes is now using 100% CG cars in their ads. In FOOD ads, the product has to be somehow edible and/or the actual food being advertised. But in these car ads from Mercedes, there is not even ONE single frame of an actual vehicle anyone could drive. It’s all faked, and easy to spot thanks to

Because it shows confidence in their product versus, “Yeah, just a sec, we need to send out a team of engineers so you can obtain the optimum lap time for our car so we can have a chance of competing with the other cars.” If a customer can’t take their car to the track and set the same lap time, your car is utter

The thing I quite like about the syclone is that, dispite the fact that it can out-accellerate a ferrari, it’s quite a subtle vehicle; OK, it’s got a bit of a bodykit and some funky alloys, but it’s pretty restrained; No hood scoops, no spoiler, not incredibly low slung, no excessive decals; doesn’t even have a V8,

So what’s the point of this article? We’ve all known that a Syclone could outaccelerate what was arguably the worst Ferrari of them all (a Mondial at least seats four!) mostly thanks to AWD and considerably more torque. What are you trying to hide?

Ferrari haters don’t realise that Ferraris have never really dominated any single performance figure. Acceleration, top speed, etc.

Yeah, a 650-horsepower Corvette Z06 for $80k is really conservative.

Porsche respond like:

If you have to send a team of engineers and multiple sets of tyres to a comparison test, your car is already is the losing car. The P1 was absolutely embarrassed by the 918 at Laguna. The engineers put multiple setups on the P1 and it couldn’t match the 918. The 918 was just sent from the factory as is with no support

Sure. Doesnt mean anything at all.

It is when the other two were too chicken to give them as-built from the factory for head-to-head testing.

This is one of the reasons I love Porsche so much.

Has anybody considered the possibility that she kidnapped herself?
