my dads Jeep rolled down our driveway into my girlfriend’s mom’s brand new Mazda because the emergency brake, I assume, is called the emergency brake because there was an emergency at the factory and they had to install it in about 5 minutes. Anyways, it’s a piece of crap.

I have actually been there. My pop built a house for one of the instructors there, in the early-80s (‘80 or ‘81) and mentioned to him that I like planes. Got the royal tour and got to “fly” a DC-10 out of LAX, over the ocean at “night”, and back, with lots of help on the landing. One of the greatest experiences of my

Poorly built- it’s a tin can with mechanicals. People who buy them know this.

Build quality is no german car, but its not terrible. I have had my JK for two years now, but 37,000 miles on it and had 1 issue with it that was very minor (radiator fan was making a little noise). This is the first vehicle that I have owned that I want to pay off and just keep and this is coming from a guy who

By the looks of him, he'd probably enjoy that.

I’ve got a 2003 S55 I picked up earlier this year for high-speed highway runs. I like it a lot, and I liked the price point ($12k for a one-owner super well maintained car), and I like the fact that I can just throw the keys to people who need a car to do something (e.g., when my mom visited with her friends and

They probably have clutch delay valves and that’s the real reason the clutch doesn’t operate quickly. The best thing I’ve done to me cars is remove the delay valve on every car that has one. They’re designed to cock-block quick clutch application.

I’ll have more of my own pics when it gets here from Dallas, but I can’t identify the wheels. It’s not an AMG pack car, but the wheels aren’t factory unfortunately. I like the base model rims anyway.

found this yday. Israel realized this a looooong time ago.

Depreciation.

Then Drive one. Not kidding. Stop making excuses that is should suck, and drive one.

The 4C is a crappy car, it’s an unfinished car. It shows taht Alfa never learned the lessons from its past failures. It’s a car where peopke fill with excuses the flaws that it shouldn’t have.

The 4C is a salute to everything that made the world fall in love with sports cars in the first place: noise, style, speed, handling, purity of experience. Not heated seats, or a fancy infotainment system, or a satellite radio, or all the other things that from luxury cars that have bled into sports cars.

If you care about fun and you dont care about going fast, the lack of power steering makes sense and I agree with the choice.

Thank God I’m not alone here. It looks like one of those fish you find near deep sea vents.

I think the money would go muuuuuuch better to buy Jalopnik from Gawker Media, myself.

I’ve dealt with this dealer multiple times, having purchased a Mazda6 from them as well as a MINI JCW from their MINI dealership across the street and taken my wife’s VW there occasionally for service. Not to mention my dad’s M3 their BMW dealer services. One of the best, IMO. They care about their owners and often

Even if they took sold orders on every one of them, there’s no way all 1,000 owners will come through and actually purchase. Lots of those people will decide they don’t have the money available or would rather wait for a black one or whatever.

I really like Mazda and I wish I could own a vehicle made by them.
