When I saw “that particular scene” I was expecting discussion of the analingus scene.

The homosexual aspect of the film is pretty well publicized. Not what people are referring to when they say there are shocking revelations. At least I hope not. Because that would be dumb. It was obvious from the trailer. And I say that as a card-carrying straight guy.

After that, Death On The Nile simply takes its sweet time getting to the crime, with scenes of Gadot cosplaying as Cleopatra (her dry run to the future role she’s controversially nabbed) and intersecting romantic subplots for the sleuth and his young, excitable pal.

Rogan’s right, you should always yell “FIRE” in a crowded public space because it might actually end up on fire in the future. Fucking idiot.

Thank you for the great festival coverage. You’ll be dearly missed. Fuck G/O Media.

I loved it, and critics loved it.  It’s not necessarily that audiences didn’t.  They just didn’t go see it in droves.

You know, I had an idea for a take on Snow White that doesn’t include real dwarfs. It’s set in modern day Hollywood, and Snow is a beautiful young actress just joining a hit TV show, to the annoyance of the older, but still gorgeous, star Regina Mallus. Snow is a little naive, but good-hearted, and makes it a point to

I can’t wait to hear all the new songs like “Whistle While You Protest For Fair Labor Practices” and “Someday My Prince Will Rob Me Of My Agency.”

I doubt you or Rife can reply to this, and I’m kinda doubtful you’ll even see it, but thanks for the years of writing for this site, edifying and entertaining a bunch of wannabe smartasses. I wish you and your colleagues the best on your future endeavors.

Who else saw a slightly different name when they first saw that title and went “Wait, what? How???”.

You can’t hear a gif….or can you?

Here’s what’s coming to and leaving AV Club in Spring 2022!

I was interested in watching this movie after the first previews. Once I found out it was co-written by David-fucking-Sirota, that turned into a hard pass.

I assume you’re using “halfway decent” in the “stone cinematic masterpiece” sense of the word.

It was so well done, It made me tear up as well since she just lost him a year before she passed.

That goodbye scene where she meets up with Ron on the beach just killed me

Jessica walters one hurt so much as I loved her still in Archer and man did she steal every moment she was in Arrested Development.

There's also the fact that The Golden Girls comes close to being the Platonic ideal of the sitcom. A remake could undoubtedly get amazing actors, writers, etc., but I think it'd be almost impossible to come anywhere close to recapturing what made The Golden Girls so special.

While a show starring older actresses would be welcome, I don't think a straight remake would work. Redoing One Day at a Time is ok because, other than the title, theme song, and basic plot, the show has largely been forgotten. A Golden Girls remake would likely be crushed under the weight of the original series,
