Discussions of important topics always stir emotions. I hope you are someone who merely wants to keep the discussion civil; "moderation" is inches away from "censorship".

I really hope "gamer" won't become an unacceptable label (like when black people in America somehow became "African Americans".) Someone is trying to twist the definition to mean something wholly abhorrent, and those of us who simply play a lot of video games need to reclaim and "own" the term.

I always wonder about the players that run me over or shoot me time after time (until I enable passive mode) with me doing nothing to them; are they a bunch of 12 year old boys, feeling the wild freedom of guns and vehicles and few consequences? Or is this just the standard nature of a group crossing agelines? I…
