Probably. But knowing that Captain America is always fighting to preserve the universe is kind of nice

It’s first half is, for my money, almost completely flawless.
There’s a reason that his weapon of choice is a shield, after all.
An ending of Cap perpetually fighting back Thanos to keep him from escaping seems perfectly fitting, honestly. It isn’t the happy ending I want for him, but I think it’s an ending that would do credit to the character.
I think you could make a strong case for Mark Waid as well:
I was thinking the exact same thing. Cap isn’t out there to beat up bad guys or kill Nazis...he’s there to protect the innocent and push back against bullies.
Let Hector have a song, goddammit!
Troll better next time, dude. Or better yet, don’t.
Like I said, not angry. Just think you’re an asshole. Totally different things.
See that’s the thing. I’m not in a bad state. I’m not angry. I just think you’re a sad, pathetic little asshole. And I knew that from the start...like you said, “trolling” is in your name, it’s not hard to figure out. You just got so lazy with your trolling and I was just in the mood to shut a sad, pathetic little…
Nah...but I know your type. You throw a controversial statement out there and you argue it in the hopes that you’ll win. When you don’t win, you decide that you were just trolling, because that’s how people like you operate...you didn’t lose, you weren’t wrong, you were just kidding. You just like trolling people. But…
In which case, your “do nothing and leave the meal plan the way it is” is...still fascist?
So...this is fascist because kids might not like what they’re served on Monday.
Do nothing at all? So...no school subsidized lunches, then? Well that doesn’t make sense, since you were so worried about those kids who couldn’t afford to pack their own lunch.
He doesn’t have a point. He’s decided he doesn’t like this idea and he’s going to use every argument available to fight it, even though everything he’s saying is completely inconsistent.
My point is that calling this “fascist” all the sudden is nonsense. You just saw it didn’t include meat and you got upset and you don’t want to admit that, so you act like a school cafeteria having a set menu is “fascism”
So...no counterargument. Got it. What, exactly, is your alternative here?
Eating a meal you don’t want to eat because you’re hungry isn’t “fascism”, dude. Especially, again, when we’re talking about children who largely would just eat fucking Happy Meals all day if they could. They aren’t adults. They have to be forced into things they don’t want to do. This isn’t any more “fascist” than…
No...if you don’t like it and can’t pack, you have to eat it anyway. Because we’re talking about children, and children sometimes have to be forced to eat things they don’t want to eat.
Yeah. The only downside here is if they end up making crap food that isn’t nutritious. If it’s just “here’s four forms of potatoes!” then it doesn’t amount to anything of value.
