I’m conflicted on this story.

Maybe because Liam Neeson, of his own free will, offered up a private story of his own shittiness and talked about how awful it was. While his story is, honestly, really disturbing, it does still show some honest self reflection.

Possibly. Fact of the matter is, we don’t know. And we only have his description of events to go off of...he never implies that his cooler head would have prevailed had the situation arose.

“Hoping” for a fight is not different from “looking” for a fight. He was looking for an excuse to fight someone. He was hoping that excuse would present itself.

...I think walking around holding a weapon hoping someone starts something qualifies as “looking for a fight”

You’re misreading. They refused to pay American farmers more, so they switched over to Mexican slave labor.

I think it was thematically perfect. Think about that song and what happened in that episode:

Ah yes, because nothing says “marxism” like an article complaining about a lack of competition in the entertainment market.

Persona has the advantage of largely sticking to “one and done” sort of stories. There is some crossover between each iteration, but it’s relatively light and more fanservice than anything. Each game starts with a relatively clean slate.

Yup. Like...”I Could If I Wanted To” no longer being his character makes sense, and would be a natural progression from him quitting drinking.

I wouldn’t refer to Greg’s sobriety as “very recent”, it’s been two years now. Hell, he’s been sober for longer than he’s known Rebecca.

I was completely on board with a “Rebecca ends up alone” ending until halfway through season 3, when she broke things off with Nathaniel so she could focus on herself. The moment that happened, I became perfectly fine with her ending up with someone, because she already made the right choice to focus on herself.

Ooh good come back! Almost like I get notifications for things or something...

...okay bud.

Just going to throw this out there...this school is only a few miles from where I grew up, they were rivals of ours in sports.

See, I think Superman is the most culturally interesting character in existence right now.

You came back to an argument a year later to get the last word in because someone called you an idiot. You must be very sensitive.

I don’t look, but I’ve had the occasional person ask “what’s 5% on _______” or something and give a “what the fuck?” in response.

Is this...is this a joke? Because...yeah. Lots of people do that. I’ve done it to friends and I’ve had friends do it to me.
