Honestly, I don’t know for certain, that isn’t a part of her ideology I’ve ever dug into.

The “fascist strong man” wasn’t in Man of Steel.  It was in 300.  You know, the one where the non-white, deformed state were the villains and the heroic, chiseled, manly bunch that cast out anyone that wasn’t their perfect idea of physical specimen were the good guys?

Okay?

She’s got some good ideas. But it’s surrounded by a lot of shittiness.

In fairness, I don’t think where he was born in 1920 would have much bearing on his cell phone area code.

And the comments on the articles about Tambor show plenty of outrage directed his way.

I agree. But this apparently already existed. I don’t see how not airing it changes anything, really. He’s already been paid, he’s already filmed it. Airing this season doesn’t continue his career because the work had already been done.

I mean, Hurwitz said that the show had already been filmed. Unless there is any evidence pointing to him lying, then I’m going to trust that.

But you did read about it on this website? And the article was very critical of pretty much everyone but Shakwat and Walter, right?

If there is another season of Arrested Development, and Tambor remains on the show, yes, I’ll take major issue with it.

Obviously, there is some malleability to these characters, but claiming either one is motivated primarily by self interest is just a really, really bad read that doesn’t line up with the majority of portrayals for either character.

To answer the headline: I don’t know, but hopefully it’s a lot. Only thing from season 4 I remember in real detail is Gob’s “forget me now” circle that ended ina syphilis-caused collapse

I mean, sure, sort of. Still a bad movie though. And the fact that he apparently really likes The Fountainhead is indicative of why.  He just must not really understand altruism.

I mean, there have been plenty of people I’ve met in life that were definitely racist, but they also were smart enough to know that people don’t like racists.  So it isn’t like they were shouting the n-word or something, they were a bit more subtle about it.

I don’t know why, but I really want this movie to be stop motion animated.  Or maybe made with some muppets?  I don’t know.

Really? Zack Snyder? The man with the subtlety of an anvil and the nuance of a middle schooler? The one who clearly revels in the idea of fascist strongmen dominating others? HE is the one they want directing an Ayn Rand novel?

I’m honestly surprised companies like ABC don’t require right of refusal on tweets or something.

I just love the idea behind the defense anyway. She made a statement about a black woman, related entirely to her appearance, using obviously racist language...and thinks it isn’t racism because the black woman is also Muslim?

On the one hand, good for her.

Sure.  But I feel like racists used to be a little smarter about using coded language.
