Wow, who could have seen this coming?
Wow, who could have seen this coming?
Maybe 6 months ago I would have been pretty excited about this, seeing as how the cast actually gets to interact this time.
We don’t need your pessimism right now! This is still a big step.
When I was in college and working fast food, I learned a solid rule for fast food: you want the high schoolers serving you if you can’t get a manager.
That would make sense.
Oh, I’m not saying they’re demons. That’s my personal belief, but that isn’t really my point.
Wait, what did Michael Cera or Tony Hale do?
Nope, we just don’t see any at all. No spaceships, no advanced weaponry, nothing you’d associate with aliens.
See, here’s the thing: nothing actually suggests they’re aliens beyond the characters themselves jumping to that conclusion.
I can’t find any indication of him confirming anything one way or another. And that actually includes aliens; it’s worth noting that nothing in the film actually suggests aliens beyond a few characters jumping to that conclusion. We never see any spacecraft or anything.
I think this one has a lot of validity over other ones. We never see any UFOs or anything...literally nothing suggests aliens other than the audience/character’s own assumptions.
I’d bet a few dollars it wasn’t. Besides, it has no tie in to their weakness: water (or as I’m theorizing, holy water). It would just be an incredibly bizarre idea.
I mean, nothing in the film supports that narrative, though. And I wouldn’t exactly thing humans would refer to suicide bombing as “archaic methods” in the early 2000s.
Signs makes a lot more sense when you realize they aren’t aliens, they’re demons. They aren’t weak to water, they’re weak to holy water.
As someone who has never really had a regular caffeine intake (I have a tea once on a blue moon, but no soda/coffee/whatever)...I find that it’s generally a lot easier to function without it.
I once found a bolt in a grilled cheese sandwich I had gotten from a local spot.
Oh, that’s definitely what was stopping me.
I’m vaguely intrigued by this...but not enough to work my way through 3 minutes of video to find the portion I’m interested in.
This seems pretty simple...as long as it costs them extra work (that includes busing the table at the end), add to the tip. It isn’t that hard.
Is there wine in it? Then tip more.
