Yeah, the OP claiming that Turing essentially created the modern computer is wrong...but he did essentially create computer science.  From a mathematics perspective, he’s kind of the basis of the science.

And yet we have a vice president who very clearly does.  And is there any kind of notable republican movement criticizing or attempting to disown him for that?

As someone who actually studied computer science and knows about this stuff...Turing was absolutely essential to modern day computers. He created Turing machines and essentially fathered computer science.

I don’t dispute that it is possible to love an animal and kill it for sustenance. Absolutely the case for many people throughout history, I’m sure.
