There’s still a good section of the original Xbox catalog that is near impossible to play on modern hardware. The Xbox 360 games are nice and all, but I’m not gonna pat them on the back just yet.

This is a pretty lazy excuse though. They used to do a better job when there were more dramatic differences in hardware. Now it’s all pretty standardized hardware.  Both could easily do more if they cared to do so.

Focusing on 4K is a colossal waste. Focus on framerates, more complex simulations, higher player counts, ANYTHING but fucking 4K. Breath of the Wild looks just fine on my 4K set thanks to decent upscaling, and I would be perfectly contented if the next Switch remained a 1080p system.

Biggest disappointment: that the competitive Smash community is full of sex pests, predators, and pedophiles. That’s definitely a top three “YIKES!”
