And there's our difference. I am in the land of never-above-20%-humidity. My skin hates me but the towel/sheet/sweating issues are a plus.

I do the same thing, since my $14 comforter from Walmart is easily my favorite thing on my bed. It's so thin and amazingly warm since I like to keep my house at around 60 degrees Fahrenheit and lower.

Second that. And even after a month they don't even smell or look bad. I know that's not the only criteria, but is there a little bit of germophobia involved in washing them once a week? I mean, I wash my bathroom towels once every 2-3 weeks...

This is very confusing. So she is always sleeping on sheets, and not between them? I'd definitely rather wash sheets than the duvets/etc.

Next thing you know, they'll probably tell us we're supposed to change underwear daily. Pffftt.

...I'm supposed to be washing my sheets weekly?

Who washes their sheets every week? lol

Wouldn't a better trick just be to shower before going to bed? And you can be more comfortable than this trick, too.

"finding articles based on your location". You know how much fun this would be when you're on a long bus ride or the passenger seat of a long car ride? It would be fun.

30 minutes? Here in the suburbs of New York City *everyone* commutes between 45 minutes and one and a half hours, each way.

You obviously have never lived anywhere that has any kind of sprawl, so how can anyone take your opinions on this matter seriously?

If anything, I've never gotten this question from recruiters. It's all people at the actual job that bring it up.

I have had this factor into TWO job interviews, that I know of.

This may have worked in the old days when you simply mailed in a resume, but now when you apply for a job, chances are you've got to log into another stupid system (create yet another username and password), upload your resume, fill out the online forms with your address, etc, and then fill out a complete application

I don't include it just because I don't expect them to try to contact me via mail until later in the process. They'll call or email me if they want to set up an interview. It leaves more space for content if you're trying to keep it on one page.

You say that but I've been trying to find a job so I can move out of my current area and after talking to several recruiters in the Seattle area what I've heard more often then not is, "Great tell me when you move." not "Cool let me help you find a job so you can move."

Seriously? I work in recruiting - most of us make well over 70 phone calls a day. You actually think that we are plugging every candidate into Google Maps to check their commute time? That's insane. No one does this.

Yeah, dishonesty works so very well, especially with people you've barely met yet.

Why did I have to wait to draw the Q on my forehead, when he told me exactly what to do in the video?

So now we have a separate app for messaging, a separate app for reading our news feed and a separate app called Facebook for everything else? Like what exactly?
