Not disputing your last comment (had to find out for my own self that typing on a tablet is horrid; have since bought a bluetooth keyboard to go with it): but for mine, I find my tablet is much easier to curl up with at home than it would be in a coffee shop. I generally tend to fold over the case I have for it (it

"Work" is a calendar event with the location. "Work" doesn't start until 9am. I get a nice notification when I wake up (usually around 6:30am) telling me how long I have to get to work, and then I get another notification at 8am letting me know how long my commute is (which is when I have my reminder set).
I don't

The lack of live wallpaper is kind of getting to me right now (I really love WPClock), but I'm going to try out this homescreen & see what happens :)

Interestingly enough, with all the information Google has on me (given that I never turn off GPS on my phone), Google doesn't seem to know when I need to leave for work/home. I woke up around 5:30am, and Google was all, "you can arrive to work in 18 minutes!" I'm all "....I don't leave for another 2 hours at least..."

Yes, but if I pay for it, I have all the bargaining chips. If my child is on my plan, I can see who they call/text all the time. If my child is on my plan, I have the ability to shut it down, too, or change their number. I also control when they can upgrade/get a new phone.

There's not free WiFi everywhere, though. It can be easier to use a computer to IM, however, if I am out of the house and I need/want to IM someone, I would need to either be connected to WiFi or have a data plan for my SmartPhone.

You can IM easier with a smartphone than you can a dumb phone.

4-6 is way too young. It's depressing to see some of the YouTube videos of small children trying to pinch to zoom on books/magazines.

As a non-parent, the earliest I would let my potential child have a cell phone would be about 12 or 13 (when they are getting old enough that they aren't always around an adult). The earliest I might let my potential child have a smart phone would be around high school. I would keep my old smart phone on hand as a

I wonder this myself. Does it really matter if someone is fake-smiling or fake-laughing? For most social interactions I have, it generally means that a friend really didn't find what I said amusing/insulting/worthy of a reaction, but they value me as a person and thus don't want to give me the wrong impression. This

This! A million times this!

I have a car charger for my phone. When my room mate decided not to pay the Electric Bill, I just charged my phone using that :)

I love 1Weather. I don't use it as a Widget, but it does have that option. My favourite feature would have to be the precipitation forecast.

That bag looks tiny!! I'm amazed you could fit so much into it :|

YouMail already does this. It's an app for iPhone and Android.

YouMail I think it's called does that

to find a supervisor willing to take an escalated call..Ugh. Stupid auto correct!

As someone who worked in a call center for a cell phone carrier, I assure you, it can take 10 minutes or longer at times to drive a supervisor willing to take an escalated call. That's one of the reasons I no longer work there.

I recently upped my goal from 5,000 steps to 7,000. I noticed I actually started to manage getting 5,000 steps a day on a consistent basis. Have yet to do the same for 7,000, but I am working at it :)

So...I installed Textra. I can't figure out how to turn off notifications. I don't like getting push updates for texts/emails. I use TelsaUnread to see if I have any new emails/text messages. Other than that, Textra does seem to run faster than ChompSMS. I appreciate the recommendation :)
