Built a similar desk out of 3/4" galvanized. It was a normal sit down desk, now it’s a standing desk. I’m pretty happy with it

I’ve worked places where there is ‘nothing’ outside your job. It’s miserable. I take my personal time very seriously and (with some exceptions) refuse to plan my life around my job.
My cat is the alpha too and she came much later than the dog. First day when the dog came sniffing, she didn’t bow up, or hiss. Just punched him right in the face, dog was scared for 3 days after and would shake and cry when she walked through the room.
Haha, my cat shares the water bowl with the dog. I’ve even seen her drink from the toilet and eat the dogs food on occasion. She’s a survivor...or really wants to be a dog.
