Just a small correction, the Zone version is an homage to the original created by another artist named Minus8. Wanted to make sure they got their credit as well.

Furries are a thing in Japan though they have their own community, they call it kemono. They don’t explicitly advertise the game as furry, but the chapter title cards are drawn by many kemono artists. That seems to be pretty telling.

Not that it should prevent anyone from liking the game by itself.

It stars anthro-animals, so it’s a furry game. Doesn’t mean that you have to be a furry to enjoy it or anything, and it may not be the developers’ intentions (are furries much of a thing in Japan? I honestly don’t know), but intentions don’t matter that much, as that is what they made.
