No thanks. It looks like plastic.
It’s so gorgeous!
So while I know it wouldn’t be feasible to have hand drawn or movie quality animation in a kid’s tv show, but this seriously looks like animation from a cutscene in a JRPG (or just playing Ni No Kuni).
So, I need to say that using 3D models here looks good; but I hate to say that I don’t think it’s “Ghibli good”. If traditionally drawn Ghibli is a 10, then this feels like a 7.
Wow. Condolences to the Gay family. No parent should ever bury their child.
I have nothing to say other than that I feel happy whenever I see anyone talking about FFT.
Just machinery doo-dads, more than likely. There to have fun with red light reflections off the other metallic surfaces. Although if I were playing the game and saw that on the screen, I’d be running over to see if it was materia that I could pick up.
[...]the below is how it appears in the HD remake of the game.
Anime is an art form and as such the creators should be allowed to freely express themselves.
Digital button controls for walking is far easier and more precise than a progressive analog stick whose sensitivity varies from game to game. It also translates entirely to PC WASD keyboard controls; nobody (except fools) dis WASD. :P
The PC port’s controls are a nightmare IIRC. And there’s no rebinding or controller support.
Because he doesn’t want to deal with software that treats him like a criminal for daring to buy the game? There are far too many good games out there that don’t do this to me to waste my time with ones that treat me like this.
If it comes with UPlay DRM, then free is too steep a price for me.
Turok had Halo controls before halo did. C buttons for forward-backward-strafe, analogue stick for look up/down and for turning. Goldeneye had the goofy controls you’re describing but it also had an alternate control scheme which was just like Turok’s. Halo contributed nothing to console FPS control schemes except for…
It was great for shooters if you just used the c buttons for movement and analog for aiming. Most shooters on the system had a set-up for that, just had to change to it. Even Goldeneye had those controls, but nobody really used them.
Seeds of Evil was one of the best multiplayer games on N64 - Only me
I watched the first episode out of a sense of curiosity and it surprisingly wasn’t half bad. Certainly not as bad as I was expecting: it was very self aware, silly to the point of absurdity, as you said well animated. It’s hardly deplorable its just another anime that comes from a long line of ecchi anime that goes…
Why didn’t you let it die then? Why make article about it?
