It’s funny how in China, doing something original makes no practical business sense anymore, and is even looked down upon and ridiculed. Anyone who does try, needs to go to lengths to try and keep their designs and blueprints of stuff out of the hands of competitors.

Hahahaha oh god please fucking piss off.

There’s a million games already like that on Steam. That’s why people were upset.

So your answer is to go off on an angry tangent instead of addressing the actual logic? Well, I don’t know what I was expecting. :)

I like how you answered that with a “yes” for me. :) The actual answer is if someone who doesn’t hire teachers says this, I’m not gonna crucify them for it like you pitchfork villagers are doing.

What I want to know is, are they gonna come out with a deal where I can get the game for free with a purchase of a new graphics card? Because I’ve been eyeing that 1080....

No one is saying men and women are identical? Then how can you say with such certainty that there is absolutely no possibility that genders, on average, perform differently at certain things like film making? It can go one way or the other, and unless there are conclusive studies on the matter (a personal anecdote

What are you talking about? All those things existing is precisely why I’m in favor of blind hiring.

Aww no need to be humble, you can accept the honor. :)

Not gonna bother repeating, read the rest of the thread instead.

LOL congrats on being the first to ever call me that. I bet I won’t be the first to call you a cunt, though. :)

There is absolutely such a thing as blind hiring. Text-chat interviews only. No names or personal details needed outside of qualifications. It’s possible, today, if anyone really wanted it. But all I see is a lot of “but”s from people.

Maybe it’s time you accept the possibility that men and women aren’t the same (that is, outside of situations where it’s favorable for you that they’re not), and that someone who no longer works at a company is free to speculate about this when directly asked about it. Of course I realize that the question posed to

You’re so clever. :)

Those people aren’t me, and frankly the only pushback against the idea that I’ve had in this comment thread came from people who think discriminatory quotas are needed.

Yeah I know, discrimination one way is often lauded if it’s been the other way around for a long time elsewhere. Still doesn’t make it right.

You’re so clever. :)

Bwahaha I love people like you who come in here with their pre-cooked internal narratives, and think they can immediately tell what anyone is thinking.

It’s the 21st century now. Candidates can be interviewed in real-time through text alone. No more excuses. Time to bring it back!

That’s absolutely hilarious that you think that’s “my logic”. It shows exactly how you’ve created this internal “us vs them” narrative where you’re the good guy. That’s why you push for hiring quotas, because you don’t care about equality, you just care about having something to push against.
