I smile when I see one of these on the road. Both because it's a bit rare (in NJ), and I've followed the issues with dealerships/sales, and would like to see Tesla help change that landscape.

I appreciate a car with a personality

I think the 5th Gen Camaro looks MUCH better than the C6 'Vette. Not better than the C7, but enough that all things being equal (price/power) I'd go for the Camaro in a heartbeat.

My first thoughts are....(1) what happens when this somehow breaks, and either stops making sound, or won't stop making sound? (2) What can be done aftermarket to this feature, such as changing the sound file (instead of a V8 sound come on, how about TIE fighter noise, freight train, ice cream truck jingle, etc.)

Looks like Florida...and a Floridian.

Looks like a pain for drive-thrus.

I want one of these so bad...but every photo I see with a driver, it looks like an oversized head photoshopped in.

Looks like Jar Jar Binks.

I look forward to seeing what GM does with various editions of the 6th Gen Camaro. Of course the current z/28 is great, but I look forward to them chasing that 707 number.

He's totally going to buy that Caddy.

While it looks more "Camaro", I don't care for the '13 tail light (or headlight) redesign. The 2016 could be a hit or a miss for many people. Personally, I like the heft of the 5th Gen, and wouldn't be as interested in a body design that had less presence on the road (shorter, narrower).

I've always wanted a Fiero modified in this manner. I don't know why, but I have...

It still looks more striking, and more so like a performance vehicle, than the Chevy SS.

I agree. It's was like Ford's American models at the time, filtered through a German cover band.

I never liked that part of the design. If they made it look more mature, and less like something from an old Focus, it may have been taken more seriously.

"EcoBoost", to me, conjurers up images of tech for fuel economy. That the "boost" is either in the economic expense of running the engine, or "eco" friendly, that the boost is a way of conserving gas and saving the environment. It never made me think "performance" model.

My first thought would have been to grab two, in case the first one I grab got damaged in the accident.

IMO, this look holds up over time. The new one looks more like a mild evolution of the Z3 Roadster.

Crap, we're starting?!
